Love the atmosphere of this place! The food here is amazing too. There is a variety of food options to choose from. Food and drinks are all reasonably priced. Super friendly staff as well. Highly recommend going here if you’re in the area.

Great place good drinks good food. Dont asked for limes they where at least a week old other then that. Plenty of TVs on the inside plenty of TVs on the outside we went there to watch a warriors game ask to pay $10 cover charge because of a boxing game I thought it was funny because on the inside of the bar there is literally seven people at the bar he said we can sit on the patio that was free for the warriors game so we said yes and we went back there I found out that's where all the people were I get it it's slow and everything but don't charge a cover charge with seven people at the bar it's not worth it anyways great time heat lamps in the back good people very clean area easy to find definitely recommend checking out the Brit if you like the Brit definitely check out the original brick on Almaden really good bartenders there on speakers that are really suck music is very quiet but overall the people and the bartenders are very friendly definitely recommend checking out both locations

This is the best place to take your team,colleagues or even group of friends for a night out, special dinner, or milestone celebration. They can cater to all size groups and offer a great beer and food selection. Whenever we visit or have friends coming to SJ we always recommend the Brit for great tasting food, friendly service and delicious adult beverages! The patio gets filled up quick here so be sure to make a reservation as it gets busy but be sure that every seat has a great view of the TVs.

Four stars because I had takeout and couldn't spend the time to drink in the place. Pub fries were good, would have wanted a Shandy while I waited, but I was on the clock at an event down the street. Hopefully next time.

Fish and chips was okay. But I've had better. For a Brit pub experience the atmosphere wasn't there. American football playing on every television in the place.

Good place to watch sports. The outdoor bar is really nice but the screens are a bit dark on a really sunny day. The servers are very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks are pretty decent too.

I can tell this is a great pub and really right up my alley. So pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and drink. I had the English breakfast and by far on of the best I’ve had in the states. The Bloody Mary was fire 🔥. They are trying to get a lit brunch vibe started so highly recommend anyone swing by if they want a good Sunday Funday party.

This review is for the day of the Euro 2020 final only. Two bartenders only for a crowd of hundreds was a travesty. The female bartender that day was rude and obnoxious due to being overwhelmed. A guy next to me tried to order a beer for at least 20 minutes and finally she came over and took out her frustrations by yelling at him “can’t you see how many people are ahead of you?”. Due to that, I did not try to get her attention but several times she washed glasses right in front of me and never asked if I’d like another beer. So, I remained silent. After waiting 45-55 minutes, a lady came and stood next to me to order drinks and this same bartender started to serve her but the lady kindly stated that I was ahead of her. The bartender gave me a disgusted look upon serving me. Brit management let us down that day, sorry. Updated: I appreciate the response from Brit management and I think the explanation is perfectly valid and understandable. My friend and I had both gone to the Almaden Brit and found it closed, thus we went to the downtown Brit. We did speak to several people who had done the same. Additionally, this is not the first establishment that has had trouble rehiring people after COVID. That said, I’ve been to this Brit before and enjoyed the food, drinks and service. I will return if I’m in the area. Upgraded to four stars due to the explanation and previous visits.

Wow, what a great atmosphere and crowd during the world cup. We had a blast. This place was packed but the service was fast and the staff were on top of their game. They were friendly and made sure we were having a fun time. Great food, awesome atmosphere, friendly crowd. Definitely a new spot to hang out for us. Cheers to the staff!!!!

The Britt is truly the place to visit next time you are in DT San Jose! From the staff to the food to the atmosphere, everything was just exceptional. You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to coming back!

Great sports pub to catch any game. We went during the world cup and they managed to have Football, Basketball, and World Cups going all at the same time. Some booths have personal screens in them so you can watch less popular stuff. We wanted to watch Purdue Basketball and had no issues seeing the game. Drinks are good. Food is decent. Will definitely go back if looking for a sports pub in downtown.

Great service, the food was the best St. Patrick's Day food quality we've found yet The dancers from Green Academy put on a great performance...and longer than others we have seen. Recommend it to anyone.

I had the beef sliders. They were tasty. Then AC/DC tribute band "Long Gon Bon" rocked the back patio later that evening. It was a perfect night.

Always a great time the server was fun, the beer was cold and a food hit the spot.

They pack them in, serve them too much alcohol, then when drunk people spill your beer multiple times, and you ask management to replace one of them, they kick you out of the place. John, there is such a thing as customer service! Oh, and make sure you write down what you order, because they add things to your tab that you didn't order.

This place was recommended by the front desk guy at the hotel we stayed at. Watched the football games and had drinks. Service was great, food was great. And it was fun�

Our server could not have been more accommodating to our party of 5. We were in downtown San Jose to attend a Sharks Game, but wanted to see our Sacramento Kings Basketball team game prior to the Sharks' game. He set up a TV just for us. The Guinness was perfectly poured, the Irish Coffee appropriately strong, and everyone enjoyed their beverages. We had just had lunch, so we only ordered onion rings and pretzel sticks, but both were tasty. We finished with Stick Toffee Pudding, which is a must try, if you have never had it. Very enjoyable time in a delightful British Pub, full of ambiance.

Beer selection is sufficient. Bangers and mash look decent. Don’t order the disappointing curry chicken.

Discriminating, inconsiderate, rude, lazy, poor customer service, fowl employees and management who neglect an individuals amendment rights. Treat everyone based by their looks and wealth, instead of equality.
