Bluefin - San Jose - Photo album

We had the Bluefin Omakase "Trust your chef" special. It was plentiful and it covered a wide range of styles. All of the appetizer courses were tasty, but they were heavy with soy and vinegar. It was interesting, but I prefer to taste my sushi instead of covering it's delicateness in sauces. The se
Food was amazing, presentation was good, service was great. This place can get busy so coming in off hours is a plus. They have a bar also, parking is on the street and is very limited. There is a sign stating there is parking in rear, not sure about it. Few of the booth seats really need to be
A fun and delightful experience overall. A aesthetically pleasing place to dine with good sushi. While parts of the menu can be on the more expensive side that is typical to most good sushi. If sushi is something that you enjoy you should go as the sushi and service were good.
We had a great experience here! Sushi was on point, and service was excellent.
I ordered the sushi omakase. There was a lot of sushi for the price, and it was all very clean and quality fish, however the selection wasn't as varied as I have had when I ordered omakase at other restaurants. Service was very good and their other rolls, such as the unagi macadamia nut roll, were c
Bluefin is one of the best sushi restaurants in downtown San Jose. The sushi is fresh, the ambiance is great and always have good service. They also have a big handsome bar with a happy hour! We refer all our guests at Arena Hotel to Bluefin when the ask us. See you soon and Go Sharks!
Happy hour menu is decent, oysters are nicely presented and tasty.
The food was as good sushi I've ever eaten & I've had plenty. We were there for a birthday & the tempura ice cream was unbelievable. No birthday desert has ever been that wonderful 🎂. It's worth every dime we spent. Can't wait to do it again. For a birthday it was beyond special!!!
I decided to try this place after attending an event at the SAP center. The place is about a 8 minute walk. Upon entering I was welcomed and provided great customer service. I tried three different sushi plates and found each one to be tasty. I wish I came earlier because me and my wife wanted secon
Very good sushi restaurant that has a nice selection of sushi with REAL crab and not the imitation. They also offer the dinner “surprise” that requires a day in advance notice and the chef creates a meal for you. Fish is very good and seems to be very fresh. Another good thing is it is open late. Th
Great place for dinner for before any event at the SAP. I had been coming to this place for year and never disappoints. The chef takes pride on his food and love what he does. They have a few signature drinks worth trying. Staff is very friendly and service is great. Parking is in the back of the
I've been here for dinner several times and it's location is very convenient if you're going to any event at the SAP center. Classy atmosphere as far as sushi joints go in my opinion and the quality of the fish is excellent. I've never left hungry or disappointed.
Jun the sushi chef is fabulous. The food is so tasty - practically melts in your mouth. The wasabi is fresh & even the ginger is incredible. Full bar with nice cocktails as well as a nice sake selection
Modern interior. Excellent food. Some of the best Korean BBQ beef I've had in California. The sushi is excellent. Generous servings. The owner, Jun and his team are artists. Do yourself a favor and come here. I do every coupe weeks and always love it.
Fresh and delicious sushi and good cocktails. Have come here twice, most recently enjoyed the Omakase which was the prefect amount of food, great variety at a great price point (highly recommend). The owner/chef even comes to the table which is quite nice.
Limited vegetarian options as you would expect in a Japanese restaurant. I had the vegetarian roll which were quite refreshing. The tempura wasn't as great. Howeey the service was good and the ambiance good for a corporate meal with colleagues. All in all a good place if you wanted to go for dinner
Went for lunch. Their sushi and sashimi are ok, not the best but certainly not the worst. A solid 4 stars, probably reasonable within the price bracket. Their miso soup was fresh and excellent, and the karage was an interesting style I had not had before, but still was close enough to be of my likin
