Tea Station

Heard about the hype for the longest and finally went in last week...THE HYPE IS REAL!!! I'm officially on the bandwagon for their "tea to share" motto, I cannot stop raving about Tea Station to everyone and visited 3 times in just a week because there is just so much to try and I cannot get enough of the flavors.

If this were years ago when there was far less competition in the boba world, this place would probably get 4-5 stars easy but since the 626 (and beyond!) has been inundated with a tea shop on every other corner, the bar has been raised and places like Tea Station need to change to keep up. Service and atmosphere are okay, nothing great. Drinks are- again- okay, not great. They lose a star for the fact that they do use syrups and creamers. I am not a fan of cheap ingredients and additives. I like that they do have a full kitchen and a solid food menu, which a lot of boba places lack. The last time I was there, I simply ordered their Spicy Wontons. Twenty minutes pass by and nothing... I got the sneaky suspicion that the guy who took my order never actually put it in, so I flagged someone down and sure enough, I was right. When it finally came out, it was hot and delicious, even though I wouldn't have minded it a tad bit spicier. They apologized when handing me the dish and when the check came for our table, I wasn't charged for my order. That was a proper customer service move on their part and I was pleasantly surprised as service can be bad enough to warrant a one-time visit only. Thank you, Tea Station staff, for an otherwise flawless evening with my girls.

Best boba tea in the plaza, hands down. Don’t be fooled in case it’s not as busy and “trendy” as the other places. We tried a few different places since there are so many nearby boba shops, but none of the other ones are connected to a real tea store and thus, as you would expect, have lower quality milk tea. 10/10 recommended.

I wanted to rate this business a "zero star", but there isn't an option. In reality it deserved a "zero star". The boss had a very very bad attitude, terrible attitude toward the customer, raising his voice, cussing at the customer and asking the customer to call the police. I have not encountered anyone as terrible as this one in my entire life. Poor customer service, very poor in handling the problem, very unprofessional and rude. Beware of this restaurant's owner.
