I've been a patient here at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center over a span of maybe 25 years and I must say, they're managing to keep me alive and kicking and I couldn't be more thankful and grateful. The nursing staff, hospitality staff, cafeteria staff, always very pleasant and kind. The hospital is very beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained.

Horrible service. Called them and they did absolutely nothing to help after waiting more than an hour and talking to two different people. Both people I talked to were uninterested and unwilling to help. First person I talked to simply said "I don't know" after I asked a simple question. He proceed to put me back on hold for another hour after saying he would send me to someone who could help. I talked to the "supervisor" after a long wait, hoping he was more helpful than the first person. Sadly, it was the same story. Uninterested and didn't even attempt to resolve my problem. Poor support, especially during a pandemic where almost everything is done through calls. Be expected to wait if you call at a reasonable time, but please don't expect to always have your questions answered, even after hours of waiting.

FIGURE OUT YOUR PHONE TREE!
It took an hour to get a hold of someone. He was really kind, but couldn't even find me in the system. If they're too bureaucratic to figure out a phone system and record management system, I definitely don't want my health in their hands. Eventually I did get in contact with a lady who was very helpful and could set me up with an appointment in another clinic.
UPDATE: Every time I have to go to contact the hospital about anything, I go through this process.

I was involved in a motorcycle crash back in March. (thankfully nothing serious happened to me) But a trauma activation was issued to the hospital and I was swiftly brought to the trauma room where nurses and doctors started checking for any injuries. I had no serious injury just a bad contusion on my left calf. Therefore they just dumped me on a bed in the hallway where I spent the next 9 hours waiting for a doctor (who never came) to tell me what to do and send me home. After 9 hours they prescribed me with some ibuprofen. Moral of the story is , I received a bill for 35.000 dollars for being dumped in the hallway for 9 hours.. completely unacceptable in my eyes
