Dinner was Fantastic. Decorations are very fun. Service was friendly and attentive. The pasta was my favorite. Fish and chips was a unique take on the standard. Well done. Wine and 🍻 list have some great choices. Desserts were stellar. There was a photo shoot occurring when we were seated so it was entertaining to watch the models pose for the cameras.

Great cocktails at good prices for the area. (~15 for something fancy). The bartenderess provided great service and was sassy. She also provided great recommendations and quickly picked up on our tastes, even pinning what we'd order food-wise off the menu. The garnishes were well thought out on each beverage. I did not order wine, but noticed a good wine list.

The duck was really delicious. The service was pretty good but they are still very new and working things out. Fwiw Mayor London Breed came the same night we did so a pretty good cosign. SF doesn't have that hotel dining/bar vibe that LA and NY have but I think the Virgin hotel as a whole does a good job of bringing people in for that. It's not cheap (but what is here) and think they have that hotel premium even in the restaurant but still a good place to visit with an awesome roof top bar. A limited menu is a bit of a downer but what we had was really good

It's rooftop bar that has more space than Charmaine's. However, it's not warm if you end in the wrong side - outside of the main space. The heaters above are poorly designed and hardly keep customers warm. We couldn't stay outside too long so we decided to just stand inside. Seating is generally not for large groups. And reservations are probably best. Not great for spontaneous happy hour. They also said they have blankets but it's limited. I saw three people with blankets. Four stars for venue only.
