Grinders Pizzeria

Tried this place after reading great reviews about them. The pizza from here is great! We got a deep dish. What we loved about it most is how real mozzarella cheese, delicious sauce, real pepperoni and fresh vegetables are used. The crust was kinda bland. But it was still delicious and filling!

This will be my second rating for this place. This is the second time I've tried their deep dish supreme Chicago style pizza and I must say it is vastly improved from the first time I tried it. I am going to go as far as saying this: it is the best Chicago style pizza in San Francisco that I've tried thus far, other than Uno pizzeria that has left the city some years ago. There is another place in San Francisco called paxties, I would be lying if I said that their Pizza is not as good as this one I've tried, but the big difference is the price. Paxtie's does not offer a combination deep dish pizza, they will charge you per topping and that really disappointed me to say the least. I have tried them and they are good, as far as quality goes they are as good as grinders pizzeria but they also charge a lot more. That's why I am saying that grinders is the best deep dish pizza in San Francisco and probably the entire Bay area. I have tried a place in Berkeley called Zach's Pizza, Chicago style deep dish. It was good but it was somewhat bland, they did not give pepperoni on the particular Pizza I ordered which probably hurt the overall experience. I would say that grinders is better than they are. I appreciate them being open for business and offering such a quality deep dish pizza for the money they charge. Five stars all the way

Love the Chicago style. Pizzas do tend to take a while, but worth it!
