Katsu curry was pretty bad. Katsu was thin. Curry wasn't even warm. Rice was too dry. Veggies weren't good. Saba was good. Everything else was average. Service felt hurried and wanted to push us out to turnover the table. Restaurant was better under previous ownership.

We got the lunch special for $15 each person, noodles with side of rice bowl. The rice is great the karage is a bit dry. Ramen and udon taste ok.

You can never go wrong with any spot in Japantown I think . Hand rolls were really good , fresh fish . Fast service , great prices , yummy food

We really enjoyed our meal here despite the fact that we had never eaten Japanese food before and we're intimidated to go in. 🤣🤣. The waitress gives you a laminated card for you to use to make what you want from the menu. A genius system for people who really need to read the menu over and over!
We went with the make your own Bento Box option and a spider Roll. Everything was delicious.

I was in town with my family visiting Japantown in San Francisco. We were looking for a place for late lunch for a party of 7. I was at 2 other restaurants across the street and no one waited for me. I went to the West side of the mall and found this restaurant. It was as busy and they waited on me right away and have a table for all of us in a matter of minutes. The price was great and we enjoy the food. A bill for 7 people come out to be $105 including tip and tax so not bad at all. Definitely be back to this place.

Ordered the Salmon Teriyaki, Miso Ramen, Takoyaki. The Salmon Teriyaki is great. The Takoyaki is good. The Ramen is 👎🏻.
Lesson learnt - Don’t go here for the Ramen.

Not sure what we had, but just see the pics and you’ll get it. How we chose this place was a line formed do we followed everyone else.Right in the middle J-Town. We decided, since it was very busy due to Fleetweek and the ball games and not to mention Saturday eve. We all enjoyed what we had , but we’ve had better bento boxes. Th ramen was pretty good, but a tad salty. As always post wherever your palate takes you. Just see the pics.@ already. Cheers all.

This restaurant reminds me some Japanese restaurants in subway alley in kyoto. We got lunch special cold noodles. My partner got bulk wheat noodle and i got udon noodles. Udon is much tender and great with the cold soba soup. Croquettes are okay. Feel like they just only fried them which they got from the factory. Curry of course not impressed at all. Shrimp fries are pretty okay. Busy on weekend. Service was okay
