*Takes this review as a grain of salt as it was the Cherry Blossom Festival weekend* Decided to go here on Saturday April 10th at 12:39PM. - Didn't get acknowledged to be seated until like 12:50PM, we were second in line until a group of 6 left due to waiting too long prior - Waited till 1:10PM just to order, was told lunch prices not available right when we ordered. Cool, could had told us when seating us. - Got water 1:20PM. - Got our Duk Bukki at 1:28PM. - Side Dishes and rice at 1:35PM. Apparently it's one set of bachan regardless on how many people order side dishes. Unknown if we could had asked for more? - Pan Fried Tofu and Soon Tofu at 1:37PM - Beef Salad at 1:42PM. Asked where was 1 soda and 1 hot sake, since ya know easy to serve first. - Soda and Hot Sake at 1:46PM. While the timestamps doesn't look too bad in writing, the atmosphere didn't feel right. Don't get me wrong, the food was decent and not salty (By the way, the takeout price is now outdated, showing a dollar more on real menu.). But it felt it took a while for them to acknowledge us to be seated (few empty tables, they originally had menus set up for 6 even though that group left 15 minutes prior? All the other tables inside were eating and outdoor tables few of them were waiting for their food) and to get our orders (I literally put the menu on my head and made my table close all their menus). So in all, - Food was decent - Service made time feel like a void - Would I go here again? Eh maybe on a not festival day and as long they don't take forever seating people. There wasn't much of a line behind us because of that.

Great service, even better food. We live in Japan Town area and this is one of our favorite spots. Friendly staff and surprisingly large portions of good food. Definitely worth it.

Ok, this is a MUST Review. Good Food with a Very Bad Service, equal no regret eating there but dont want to come again unless wednesday afternoon. The food in this place is good. You can count on the taste. I tried the Spicy Pork Bibimbap and its 8 out of 10. Portion wise is 8 out of 10. Variation of menu is good too. The price are average. I dine in alot of Korean Restaurant in Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Michigan. And only this one limit the side dish. Saying i didnt order enough to have more than 1 refill of side dish. Lack of smile is ok but no smile from around mid to old age lady serving the restarurant. It is one of the worst korean food dine experience i had. Its also quite pricey 15 to 25 dollars food. A friend refer me to this restaurant but saying i should come on wednesday afternoon, because the service is good on that shift and i decide to come when i have time on Saturday and i had it coming lol.. i learnt my lesson. So guys this is my review, see you again in another review.

Really enjoyed the seafood pancakes and the oyster tofu soup. I like how they serve the pancakes on the sizzling platter because if you let it sit for a while, the bottom gets nice and crispier. 👍 The tofu soup we ordered was medium spicy. I will try spicier next time because it was light on the spiciness. Overall, would like to come back again for more tofu and pancakes. 😀

Can be slow but food tastes good and comforting. The bibimbap portion is a lot and thats great! Side dishes though are portioned too little. Price is okay for location.

I thought I could not get reasonably-priced and tasty Korean food in San Francisco but I found Doobu (sounds like the Korean word Dubu for tofu.) it is a tofu house with simple decor. The good thing is that there is no long wait, they serve multi-grain/brown rice, and the service is very warm. Tasty appetizers as well. I will come again.

I'm 35 years old, and so happy I can say this is hands down one of the best meals I've ever eaten in my whole life. I'm so happy I can still be blown away by food. The flavors just burst in your mouth. A must stop if you're in the area.
