La Capra Coffee - San Francisco - Photo album

Do you like pricey pourovers made by skilled baristas? Do you need yet another cafe in SF that offers said pourovers made by said baristas? Then you've found your place. I really did enjoy my coffee here.
Nice cafe close to work. They sell coffee but not single origins. I had a latte that was ok. Food menu, like all SF downtown places, really inspires you to make your own food.
This is the best coffee I've found. Great espresso, which compares favorably to my favourite places in Melbourne. The granola parfait is a great way to start the day with fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt making for a healthy start.
Great food. Really slow service. I've order my food from their website twice and, in both occasions, my food was not ready by the pick-up time that they set. The last time, it took them 45 minutes, from the time I ordered, to have my salad ready. Waiting in the restaurant is not so great either beca
Sometimes you just need good coffee. I'm not talking about Starbucks or Petes. This place is better than Philz without the hipster BS. If you just want really good coffee, quickly, and maybe some food, this is the place. The cold brew is also bomb.
This review is only for their "Beignets." I'm a New Orleans native and coworkers told me this place had beignets, so went to try them. It's a disgrace to call these beignets, it's more like a fried donut hole with powdered sugar. It's like selling a meatball as a hamburger.
Good coffee quality: you can get a proper espresso there. There's room and light. Just watch out for the sticky tables...
Great coffee! Real coffee drinkers will approve. High quality, healthy food. One of my go to spots!
