The churro place my uncle wanted to take me to was closed on Monday, so our next option was the bakery that they like coming to. Located in the perfect neighborhood is this cute shop.
So many sweet treats literally as soon as you open the door the cookies are straight ahead. In the refrigerated case next to the register are where all the cupcakes & pastries are. We were still pretty full from lunch, so decided to go with a half dozen of the mini cupcakes. Two each of the lemon, red velvet, & the most-est. Didn't get to try all of them as I was leaving that day, but I did try the lemon drop. The flavor was on point with the perfect amount of tartness. There is also filling on the inside which is a nice surprise.
Prices do seem a little high at $2.35 per cupcake, but I do understand they are a local company & a lot of work does go into making these things. Will have to stop by on my next time back as there are so many other goodies I missed.

Pastries are tasty, I got the raspberry cheesecake and it is very light and tasty while not being too sweet. The graham cracker crust is light and delicious as well! The chocolate chip cookie is a bit on the smaller side but super sweet and tasty, would highly recommend you come and try them out

Amazing cupcakes! There are some stunning cup cakes and other cakes at this store. The taste test did not disappointment. You also must try the banana pudding! I have cravings for this all the time!!

All good pastries but poor customer service. Alex was rude, yelling at customers every-time; the new manager seems to do not care about it. I'm a long-time customer, My daughter loves their chocolate cherry bread and the pastries are only getting better all the time for sure.

Line up outside to enter, and depending on how many workers inside to assist customers, it can easily be at least a 10-20 minute wait. No monitoring for amount of people inside at one time.

Honestly, I’m just grateful that such place exist. The bread, especially, are amazing value and taste superb. Pro tip: After 3pm, you can get discounted coffee and tea.

Great intimate, casual space with delicious, interesting food and coffees, etc. Good community feeling with amateur art displayed. Very nice owner/baker. Like places used to be in Berkeley while I was in college. Neighborhood treasure!

Best place ever! The Staff is beautiful 😍 the Sandwiches are amazing the coffee ☕ is delicious 😋 and pastries where scrumptious 💗😁 for a single mom this is the best experience for online school and work for mommy due to pge.com outages and coronavirus. Thank you for everything ❤
