Amazing dining experience. The Gyukotsu Ramen + Short Rib is delicious. The kitchen was filled with a savory aroma while it was prepared. Tender meat and thick noodles made it worthwhile. Their Gyoza is also a great choice for an appetizer. The setting and service were very pleasant.
The food is delicious. For the price, there aren't enough noodles for me. The flavor was rich and savory. The ramen, compared to Ichiran in Japan, is a step down though. The bento set tonkatsu is very thin so beware if you were expecting a thicker cut.
This place was busy even for Friday lunch. We got spicy miso ramen and kurobuta pork bowl with rice. The food was tasty and really well made. The ramen wasn’t very oily but still very flavorful with perfectly boiled jammy eggs. The pork dish was delightful. Flavorful and melt in mouth. They had a pr
We’re welcome at 20:45, even though they close at 21 - something completely unimaginable in EU. Black Garlic Ramen portion is huge and the noodles, pork and mushroom blend in a crispy-creamy flavor boom. 40 dollars without tip for 1 Ramen, beer and a soft drink. Matcha IPA can be skipped. Water prov
Really good food, the ramen broth for the tonkatsu was light and flavorful. The curry rice was filling, and the broth for the agedashi tofu packs a punch. The waiter was stretched thin... And there's usually a waiting list, all of which is understandable.
Great spot for a family or casual date, with friendly service, nice decor and low-key atmosphere, and tasty ramen (we really enjoyed the black garlic tonkotsu with kurobuta, especially after adding a little chili sauce). The shrimp tempura was fresh and crisp, the grilled salmon was good, and the yu
"Where do you want to eat? How about that place? I dunno, how about THAT place?” That’s the “You Decide” game we all play when there are an abundance of nearby restaurant choices, such as in Japantown. You see a ramen house, look at the menu, check out the vibe, see if there’s a crowd, then spot ano
food was hella good, ate there with my mom. her meal is the first picture, mine is the second
Amazing food. One of my fav Japanese spots in SF. We were impressed with everything we ordered: gyukotsu ramen, pork belly rice, takoyaki, and pork belly bao. Get the gyukotsu ramen - you won’t be disappointed. The meat is so tender and falls off the bone. The broth is rich and savory. The noodles
It's a great ramen but not the best in town. The broth was amazing but I have had a better chashu pork
We came in a few minutes after 6 pm on a Saturday and were seated right away. We ordered the takoyaki fries, chicken karaage, black garlic ramen with kurobuta pork belly kakuni, and drunken ramen. Everything was really good. The highlights were the really crispy, flavorful fries and the rich, delect
Was my go to ramen place. The short ribs ramen used to be $24.95 now it's a staggering $35!!! You have to be famished to sample this one of a kind bowl of soup
Food 4.8, Service 4, Ambiance 5; Short Rib Ramen was tasty and full of flavor. The portion is plentiful and worth the $35 when you want to treat yourself to a hearty meal. Wish they served it with more broth, the broth needed to be piping hot and trimming the inch of fat off the rib would have looke
Good food and the wait wasn't too long even during the SF Cherry blossom festival! We got the short rib, kurobuta, and chicken katsu curry. All of them were pretty good!
Would highly recommend this spot in Japan town! Very delicious bento boxes with variety, veggies, and miso soup. The chicken and pork here are delicious! My favorite is the spicy teriyaki chicken plate. I really enjoyed the yuzu chicken as well especially since it comes with broccoli. One of my favo
Came on a Friday evening and we were immediately seated. Service was spectacular but the food was even better. Everything was full of flavor and delicious. Inside is cozy and modern. Restrooms onsite and easy parking at a garage close by. This was a great find in Japantown.
We ordered the black garlic tonkatsu and takoyaki and we loved it. The ramen broth is not too thick and oily, yet, it is still very flavorful. Chashu pork is crisp outside and soft inside and ramen egg is perfectly cooked. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is veey attentive. Nice location i
