Kim Son - San Francisco - Photo album

I was planning to come here several times and ended up here today. So far this place is the best among all that I have visited as a lover of Vietnamese soups. There was such a place on Irving, but after 35 years of business, it closed. And so I found the same quiet, unobtrusive place with good food.
Not many pho places around here so I was really happy to find this spot. Their serving sizes are hefty and food doesn't take a long time to come out. The imperial rolls were sooo good and crispy and flavorful. The pho was pretty standard. 4* review because there were a lot of flies flying around bo
Read online reviews and decided to give this place a try. Wholesome Vietnamese comfort food. Tried the house special pho and it was great. Large portion, TONs of meat (which is a big bonus) and tasty broth. Definitely will come back to try out other dishes that all look delicious. The server was att
Epic Pho, and epic 5-spice Chicken! This is their Lunch Special mixed plate!
This is some of the best Vietnamese I’ve had in the city, and in my opinion the best bun rieu I’ve ever had. Great balance of flavor, not too fishy or intense. It’s the perfect, cozy neighborhood spot - I go once a week and love it so much <3
Updated review 2/4/2022: There was about a 10 minute wait for a table tonight at 6:30pm. My crispy seafood noodles $14 came out in about 10 minutes as well. Their version of Mi Xao Don Hai San (crispy seafood noodles) came with fish balls, fish cake, shrimps and squid with various vegetables. It cam
One of my favorite restaurants. 2 dishes here are the best I've tried anywhere: Veggie Noodle Soup and Veggie Crispy Noodle. (I'm mostly vegetarian.) My wife enjoys the crab paste/tomato pho.
Wow! This place just has the best vermicelli. Fish sauce is somehow better. Grilled pork is addictive.
Amazing. The food is delicious and the waitstaff is always incredibly nice. There’s always people but the food comes out real fast. Really authentic and home-cooked vibe.
Love this place. Food are excellent and portions were generous. Service was great.
Sweet little family owned Vietnamese place in the heart of the outer Richmond. Great Pho and other dishes. Not a date night spot but perfect for any weekday.
What a treat!! The Pho was amazing from start to the last sip of tea. My dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked using fresh ingredients. The coffee was also quite the treat!
I've been to Kim Son many times, and always leave satisfied. This visit I had the pho with rare beef and tendon, and my friend just had the special rice plate with pork chops. We always order the salty lemonade, which is surprisingly refreshing. This unassuming restaurant can be busy, so prepare to
Their chicken curry noodle soup is the best soup in North America in my opinion. Get that and a pot of tea and you’ll be soooo happy. I love this place and the people are super nice. I come here often.
Had a great Pho here. They have a lot of options! Service was quick and good variety of sauces/spices to pick from.
