The salad here taste great, generous portion and reasonably priced! Highly recommend lunch spot! Tips: Sandwiches can add a side salad There are way more seating areas on the left. The entry way is not too obvious buts it’s on the left a little bit passed the dish drop off area
Another awesome lunch spot. Their menu changes frequently, so highly recommend to try something different every single time. Salads all are tasty and healthy. Main disadvantage: they do not take online or phone orders during rush hours (12-1:30). Highly recommend to visit if you are in SOMA area.
What a cute little place tucked in a little alley. I got there about noon and there was a little wait to order. There is seating inside as well as outside. There is even a little bar area which next to it. They offer hot or cold sandwiches with a garnish (small salad) on the side. Nice place to
Fantastic coffee with great poached eggs and salmon lox. Nice little hidden brunch spot in the middle of the city
Really good sandwiches for lunch in a busy side Cafe, get there just before 12pm to beat the rush.
This was the only take out coffee shop around the area. It looked like a hipster cafe. I liked their Americano. The pastry was delicious too.
Incredible sandwiches, baguettes, and salads for lunch. They have a new dining space that adds a lot more space, or take it to go. Just get there early or prepare to stand in line for a bit. But it's worth it! One of my favorite lunch spots in the neighborhood.
I used to come here exclusively for the kale salad, but I have grown adventurous over the years. All of their salads are amazing. And sandwiches too. The roast beef sandwich is always good and seems to be on the menu, but I haven't ordered anything bad or even marginal here. Everything is amazin
I love the salads here, especially the kale. I could eat salad from here every day and be happy. They use super fresh ingredients and season them properly to make them shine - they make everything with love and care. Speed may not be their strength, and the lunch lines get long. Their baguette s
This is such a hidden gem! Amazing eggs benny with ham. It’s super small but never seems to be too crowded and there are some nice seats outside. Prices are good and they make a great cappuccino! Great little neighborhood breakfast spot.
The food is great, I always order a meat sandwich, it comes with a great side salad. I always go here with coworkers, its very busy. You can always count on a line going out the door. I've never dined in because its always too crowded for me to comfortably eat there, but there are a few bar like sea
Delicious salads, sandwiches, and baguettes in this little cafe off Bryant on Ritch. The line gets pretty long, even at 11:45am, for lunch, so make sure you get there a little early! The kale salad is humongous and pretty delicious. I got the turkey and prosciutto sandwich. It was pretty good. Loved
One of my favorite work-week lunch spots in SF. The lines are long because the food quality at Darwin eclipses everything else in the area. Try getting there before 11:45 if a long-line-experience ruins your day. After 2pm, they've usually run out of a couple sandwiches/salads for the day. The menu
Small yet curated selections of breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus wine all day everyday :)
As others state, their baguette sandwiches are great value and also great tasting. Good Semifreddi bread. I tried the ham, gruyere, Dijon. Perfect proportions of fixings (I don't like overstuffed sandwiches). Service is fine, but could be friendlier. Coming back soon (maybe tomorrow!) to try ano
A cozy SoMa shop serving up delicious sandwiches, salads, and coffee. The kale salad is humongous! Very hearty... massaged kale topped with pancetta, cheese, garlic, and balsamic. A bit overwhelming on the garlic, but big enough for two lunches. Be prepared for a line and limited seating.
Quaint little spot tucked away in a side street, but don't miss it! Every single thing my friends and I ordered tasted amazing and were great portions. Not a whole lot of space so I wouldn't recommend coming with a group larger than 2 or 3.
Darwin is off the beaten path. It is a super cozy restaurant that really does a great job of serving some of the best food in the Bay Area. The service is always great and I have never had anything bad here. The portions are the perfect size, leaving you satisfied but not overly stuffed. The menu ch
