Marengo On The Alley - San Francisco - Photo album

Came for a date. Date was awkward but the place seemed pretty chill! Nice size space for a good crowd. The night was pretty quiet tho. But anyways, that whole strip was filled with lots of places to eat and drink and walk around.
Very good sliders, tasty and fresh. Good service
Excellent food, service, ambiance and selection. Special thanks to Lemar for really making us feel welcome. Highly recommended to everyone.
Bartenders are awesome- so attentive. Multiple TVs on different sports and great bar food.
such a cute place in a very hidden alleyway! the decor is beautiful and I really liked the layout and light fixtures. we got the sesame popcorn chicken (this stuff is the bomb!!) and the short ribs slider and original crispy chick slider. The sliders were just ok but the popcorn chicken, I repeat wa
Small but good selection of rotating IPAs on tap. Have eaten the sliders a couple of times and they are tasty, but not quite as tasty as the menu would suggest. Mark, that cheeky N Irish scamp, is an awesome dude and an awesome bartender!
If not stellar, entirely good bar. Some the higher quality local breweries represented on tap, sufficiently fun and tasty cocktails, reasonable prices. Welcome interior of exposed brick and wood, clean bathrooms with nice tile. Located in a charming alley to boot. Happy hour specials as well? Honest
Order the short rib slider and Mexican corn falafel slider -- both are delicious and filling. I thought the burger patty sliders were OK, but order a couple to share to find your favorites. The fries sampler with queso is a good shareable appetizer. Great spot for lunch or happy hour bites and drink
Very busy place, but the bartenders managed to keep everyone happy. The menu consists of sliders, sliders and more sliders. I tried the shrimp poboy and the jerk chicken slider. The shrimp was a winner, jerk chicken was just ok. My sidecar cocktail was very strong and good!
Excellent sliders. The place allows you to order each slider individually so you can try the different ones and are not stuck with a bunch you don't like. The pulled pork was my favorite.
Great place with small tables, group tables and bar (tall tables). Good energy and vibes from this place and very clean bathrooms which is always my final test in how good a restaurant is. I came to this place for lunch with a friend who had already reserved a table. The waitress was nice to come fe
Good hidden place to grab lunch, dinner, or happy hour in fidi. Typically not super crowded. The queso is amazing and sliders are good too. Varied menu will please many eaters. Also a sizeable drink list. Worth a visit!!
Since this place is right next to my office is always our go to happy hour place. The place itself is cute with a standing table area, normal tables, bar seats, and booths. They have a few TVs so you can definitely come here to watch a game like we did for the world series. I tend to go for the gra
The sliders we're big and filling and a great way to have different kinds of flavors without over indulging. Also, their bar is fully stocked with goodness.
Solid spot! Food and drinks were delicious!
Delicious sliders!!! This place is a cool little spot for lunch. The service is great and the sliders are amazing. My personal favorite is the All-American slider...you have to try it!
My fav go-to work lunch spot in the SF FiDi. Huge, tasty and unique salads if you're being good, and a ridiculously diverse selection of sliders if you're being bad. Oh. And the fries are BOMB. Don't miss out. Staff is very accommodating.
Fun place for cocktails and munchies. The sliders are delicious. If you like spicy try the Hellraiser. The chorizo cheese dip is really good too.
