Excellent buffalo wings and clam chowder! The Rueben is also respectable. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service, which was friendly, albeit a bit slow.
Came here on a weeknight to watch the Warriors game. It wasn't too busy, but enough fans in the bar to keep it exciting. Servers were super friendly. Food was ok, Shepard's pie and lamb stew. I liked the pie more than the stew, the bf thought it was good lamb but I didn't like it as much. Pretty cas
A buddy of mine and I stopped by here to get some food before going to a concert at The Chapel down the street. It was fairly crowded on a Saturday afternoon but not too bad. But there was only one bartender/waitress running the place so she tended to be quite busy. I had a Shepherd's Pie that wa
Very cool place to hang out and have a drink and sandwich. The chicken Chipotle sandwich was delicious. Fries were nice and thick. Service is top notch!
Great service! Loved the fish tacos; skirt steak taco was also great but fish was better. Our friend did not like the corned beef taco as it was dry & had a sweet-ish sauce. 4.6 stars if I could.
Nice pub in the Mission with beers and cocktails, and they have a lot of pub for items like fish and chips, Sheppard's pie, etc.
Perfect Irish pub. Very relaxed vibes. With great soda bread! The Shepards pie was perfect for a cooler night out.
Stopped here for a couple beers after checking out the Mission District. Fast and friendly service at the bar. Clean.
I read that the Phoenix is getting demolished, but unclear when! I don't live close enough to go here often, but I've always enjoyed it. Bartenders and other bar flies are fun to talk with, and the calamari was good... Though you should really stop eating octopus because they are capable of culture
The service was pleasant and friendly and quick. The burger was nice but not amazing. It was handy to have arrived during happy hour and we did take advantage of that. The bathrooms were clean. Having the football on really loudly made conversation a bit of a challenge.
Cool atmosphere. Our experience would have been a lot better had the table next to us not been so loud...but it's a bar. I had chicken quesadillas, and they were probably the best quesadillas I've ever had! Kinda weird considering this is an "Irish" bar. Their Irish Soda Bread is very good. 3 out of
Bartender was awesome, great music and enjoyed the food here
I have one big complaint - the wings are not priced appropriately. The price does not scale properly with the number of wings, so going from 9 to 12 results in an 8 dollar price jump, and 18 is over double the price of 9. I'm not sure if this is just an oversight or some sort of pricing strategy bu
This is a great place to grab drinks and food with friends. There's lots of room for groups. The staff is friendly, though the service is sometimes way too slow which is too bad because the food is really good. It's not a fancy shcmancy gourmet kinda place, but it's really good and the perfect plac
By far, my favorite pub in the city. I've been going to this establishment for years. Great food, fun atmosphere and a good crowd. Yes, you can even bring the baby stroller with you. This neighborhood spot is the place to see a game or just hang out with a group of your friends. People are friendly.
Came here to grab a few drinks before catching a show at the Chapel which is half a block away. They were showing the first game of the World Series and it was quite packed but enough room to move around. The beers on tap were good and cold. I got hungry and ordered the chicken and cod tacos which w
The skirt steak sandwich is absolutely delicious. Had it twice now - great both times. Served with tomato jam - yum! Some of the staff seem a bit standoffish but the girl that served me last 2 times is really friendly and attentive. And hot.
