I have known that this place was open for many years but didn’t think to drop in as I was always passing thru on the way to hayes valley or back home. A few months back I saw a familiar face in the adjoining bar and it turned out it was the owner Jason who used to own a cafe on the border of the Mission and Potrero that I frequented very often but closed a few years back. Jason greeted me and remembered my name and I was surprised to discover that this was his new coffee shop next door. We reminisced about old times and I promised to stop by again. Many months later i popped my head to say hello to Jason. He greeted me with a friendly smile and offered me an iced mocha on the house. This was my drink of choice back then and is still just as good using the same blend from Mr Espresso and a rich chocolate flavor. I will definitely try to stop in more often and it is a privilege to know people as awesome as Jason!

Oh, man this place is good. I love my coffee. And I get tired of store bought blends. But this place has a coffee of the day and I was pleasantly surprised by my coffee's bold flavor. It was so good, no milk or sugar needed. On top of the amazing coffee, they had an amazing breakfast sandwich. Everything about it was good. The bread was slightly toasted and had an slight crunch before the fluffiness of the bread was noticeable. The chess was what looked like fresh mozzarella. And the egg was beautifully fried. The lettuce was unique and perfectly paired with the sandwich. And finally, the bacon was a perfect crunch and chew. In all, this place is perfect to have an amazing coffee, pastry, and study. I recommend completely recommend this place!

Very good turkey avocado sandwich. Bread was top notch. The siracha mayo added nice kick. The soft serve machine was broken. 😪😪. Otherwise, would have tried the milk shake. Instead, drank the OJ and the fresh squeezed juice was super delicious. Took home some coffee beans for home. The beans all smelled great. Can't wait to try them at home! Great find of a Cafe.

I've had the mocha 3 times. The first two times were amazing. The third was just ok because the chocolate was very sparse, as was the coffee. My guess is that the espresso was not tamped down and there was not enough chocolate added. When the chocolate is added in just the right amount, it has a really wonderful grainy texture and cocoa notes. The quality and price definitely beat Blue Bottle hands down for the mocha.
