This dainty neighborhood sushi offers a cozy warm atmosphere in a cute venue. It was recommended by a foody friend to me, so I decided to gave it a try. It certainly has the chops, as the food is good and offer good portion to the value. But the chef is a bit rigid, inflexible and came across as a b
Went tonight for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The chef and hostess were very kind and the food quality and preparation were world class. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for omakase.
Really wonderful experience. I would argue one of my favorite restaurants in all of SF. The chef and his wife were wonderful, very very kind, on top of the food being so fresh and wonderful (plus filling!), the ambience was very nice. No loud music at all, nicely decorated and just a very romantic s
Great place, great food, great service! My wife and I had a reservation for a Tuesday night and couldn't of been more pleased. We had the preset menu that had a little bit of everything. Everything was equally delicious and reminded me of some of the great sushi from being in Japan. Our meal came ou
Really lovely evening with my friends and the friendly chef husband and wife pair. The vibe is very cute and the music is 10/10. The other guests were friendly, and we a had a really wonderful night. The omakase is certainly good, and I wish I could give it a 5/5. However there is better omakase in
Amazing neighborhood joint and they have a great (warm and well lit) outdoor dining area! You get your own booth. I’ve been to many omakase restaurants in sf and it’s definitely there at the top of my list. 2 sets for $200 and it comes with sake too. Great value and delicious desserts too! The servi
This was one of the most memorable omakase experiences we've ever had. It's a truly special experience. The whole place seats maybe 12 people at a time, all bar seating. It's run by a husband and wife team: he prepares the sushi behind the bar while she brings dishes and sake from the kitchen. The f
Didn’t take pictures of everything. Too busy enjoying all the wonderful dishes. Amazing and fairly priced omakase. The owners are the sweetest! Thanks for having us. This was also my first meal being in San Fran. Great start to the trip.
We did the Omakase ($150 I believe?) was a 12 course meal with a portion of sake per person. We sat outside — The ambience isn’t amazing but we care more for the food. It was delicious and filling !! Which isn’t always the case.
The best Omakase. The sushi was exceptional, the ambiance is very comfortable, and the sushi chef and his wife are excellent and friendly. Would highly recommend-- very much worth the price and portions are generous for an Omakase.
