It was amazing! We ordered a vegetarian combo that came with injera. It was scrumptious. It came with 5 sides and every single one of them was yum. The food portion is big and it can be easily shared by two people. The food felt light and filling. Every item on the vegetarian combo was freshly made.
I miss this place so much! It was the best Ethiopian food in San Francisco. I dream of the spicy okra dish. I hope they are well and reopening soon.

This visit was exceptional! The chef Abeba was pleasant and knew her way around the kitchen. The food was great and the restaurant is located in a nice area.

Had to make a long stop and this is one of the few places that isn't just take out and has outlets. The atmosphere is nice, food very tasty and folks seemed happy with the coffee. I enjoyed the jazz playing in the background. Hope these guys get more business

Such an unassuming place with such incredible food. And if you aren't sure you'll dig the Ethiopian food, there's an ample American-style deli sandwich menu...but you should definitely get the Ethiopian options.
Where else can you get yummy Ethiopian food and coffee at 7 AM? The chicken and mushrooms were appropriately flavorful and spicy, almost like a really saucy stir fry. The injera was cool, fluffy, tart, and refreshing.
