China First Restaurant - San Francisco - Photo album

Authentic Chinese food in an unassuming location. They give you complimentary tea which was extremely appreciated in this cold weather. House made chili oil is on the table which is flavorful and a little spicy. Got the pork pot stickers which you can tell are made onsite. Six come with an order and
Top shelf Peking Duck. Very affordable and high quality . This is a great local option in China town. Highly recommended!
Walked in with my family of four, and the staff was attentive to us. Very easy to understand menu, with quality food. I ordered General Tso Chicken and it was great like always. They gave us hot tea as soon as we sat down. I recommend this place as a family friendly restaurant and a place to go with
Cheap Chinese food. Can't go wrong if you order what you like. Lol. Definitely recommend the fish in claypot dish. The food comes out fast so make sure it's what you want because it'll be impossible to change your order.
Everything was fresh and delicious. The Mongolian beef was tender and full of flavor. The onions were lightly grilled to perfection. The hot and sour soup was tangy and spicy, the shrimp being a nice touch. The Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce perfectly cooked and lightly crisp. I left very full a

During Covid they had to let their servers go so the wait to get your food is long and slow. But the food is so good, I didn't care. My favorite Chinese restaurant on Clement Street. Update: the wait is a little shorter and they have been closing earlier than usual. Best to call in your order early

Ordered salt & pepper pork chops & combination chow mein. Food was delicious. Place was not crowded. We sat next to window & away from front door. Was able to stay safe while eating in door.
Clay pot dishes are really good, can keep the food hot for a long time
I have been going here for a bunch of years, coming from a native San Franciscan, I have eaten at many Chinese restaurants over many years.. Most of the great ones are gone.. Except for this one! I take my family here at least once a week, for the fresh quality food they serve, and the friendly se
Fresh food, well prepared. Imperial pork chops had a lot of fat, but that probably made it tastier. Great value, large portions. We went at 5:30 with reservations and sat immediately. However, thru the night, lots of people had to wait outside - it was so busy and tables were always full.

I can’t wait to come back and try something else! Totally recommend! Real legit Chinese food! And today’s dat
