Good Mexican food, Fair Price, A lot to eat especially with the Combination plate. Everything tasted great. Super Nachos was just that with guacamole. And sour cream. And cheese. Fast service. We ate in. It was a Thursday night around 8 pm. Not a big place maybe 8 to 10 tables for four people
Not sure how much more on point you could get for a taqueria. All of their food is good quality and the service is great. They are open late night and even offer tofu for the vegetarians, but also have all the regular carne as well. Their plates and tacos are both great. Definitely check them out if
Sometimes I just want the satisfaction of a good burrito. In San Francisco, that satisfaction can be found at Estrella Taqueria. The thing to keep in mind is that it is about the food. This is not your white tablecloth kinda place. It is the place to get food that doesn't skimp on portions.

Ordered a chicken and hot Cheeto quesadilla. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Food was damned outstanding and the service was just as good

I've ordered from Estrella Taqueria a couple of times and the food is always top notch. They made sure my order was correct, I will definitely keep coming back.
I’m honestly surprised this place isn’t rated higher. The setting is a bit run down but the food is excellent. Better than the places that charge $5 for a simple taco
GREAT PRICES! This place should be more than 3.8 stars! And that's why I'm writing this, to help get it to 4. Got an amazing carnitas quesadilla, they ask what salsa you want it mixed with, I got medium and it came with a nice salsa mix inside, so a lot more than your standard meat and cheese. Toast
The staff and owner are fast hard workers. My favorite quality of this place is the consistency of food. I'm not writing home about the burrito but it will hit the spot when I need Mexican in my neighborhood (happens a lot). Dinner plate portions are massive.
I've been going here for years and it is my absolute favorite for great inexpensive Mexican food. Super burritos and flour tostadas are my "go to" comfort foods and I measure all similar restaurants by the standard set at Estrella. The staff is always helpful and very pleasant. Don't hesitate to go
Good solid tofu ranchero burrito in a location that’s usually on my way home with late enough hours that I know they will be open most nights. What more can I ask for?
Classic taqueria offering all the classic dishes. I only live a couple blocks away so I order ahead and pick it up myself. I only gave it 4 stars because the last two times the burrito was warm not hot and I wasn't offered any salsa cups or chips.
Food was amazing! And they portions are huge. My favorite thing on the menu is the Mexican sausage egg burrito, you have to try it if you’re there!
I ordered the 3 quesabirria tacos and found them absolutely delicious!! Nicely crisped soft taco, amaaaazing birria beef, and a very satisfying cheese pull. Fair price for lunch. Will order again!
Really great family restaurant – was very relaxed about substituting my rice with beans and the burrito tastes great and they also included chips on the side! Definitely stop by
Just came here on Friday night.. my boyfriend and I ordered a carne asada burrito and chicken nachos and I just want to say that it was sooooo delivious!! Everything was sooo fresh! You guys made that food with LOVE. And in these times that is very hard to find and I just want to say thank you!!! 🙏🏽
