This is a quick place to get your traditional Chinese dim sum and noodle dishes. There is a small sit-in dining area and service is average. Food is extremely decent for the low price.
Great Bread. Just Go for That.. Right off the bus line, you find this little Chinese bakery with dim sum. The lady there was nice enough to listen to my super broken mixed Mandarin and Cantonese and we communicated.
We absolutely loved the bread with corn and ham and mayonnaise. We got 4 of them today at 80 cents each. Word.
Small shaomai (is that how you spell it?), 6 of them and 2 of those breads and a bottle of water was $5 even. Fed both of us. Word.
I will mos def have to brush up on my Chinese. More Chinese I learn, more Spanish I lose, and the other way around. I have to master both.
Authentic food, great atmosphere. I have been at least four times since it is so good. Chicken and wonton soup are my favorite; food is consistently well prepared, portions are big enough.
September 2023:
Stopped by for lunch and ordered the chicken chow fun and the won ton noodle soup. Both were very tasty. I added the hot crisp sauce to the chow fun to give it an extra boost! I thought it was delicious. I'd come back again for more delicious chow fun 🤩. The won ton noodle soup was very tasty too.
I'd come back again for more Chinese food.
A fantastic gem off the beaten touristic path. Expect a simple clean dinning room with just 9 or 10 tables, but the food will win you over. Freshly cooked and authentic. We devoured every dish and will return to this place for sure. We paid $70 for the plates you see in the photos.
I totally fell in love with that place.
We had different dishes like Wonton soup, peking spare ribs and eggplant.
All dishes were very tasty and the portion size was great. It’s very authentic Chinese food.
Especially the price ist for SF standards great. A meal was between 10-12$.
The waitress was very nice. The restaurant itself is small and doesn’t look fancy.
Got the beef noodle soup with wontons. Delicious, tender beef. The owners were incredibly kind and friendly to talk to as well!
The food here was fantastic. Yesterday my wife and I ate at a different location for lunch, ordered the same stuff and had a completely different experience. Today, the food was fresh, seasoned perfectly, and great portions. We’re on vacation from Alaska and the Beef stew here tastes about the same as Charlie’s Chinese Restaurant and Bakery back home, but the amount of beef they give you here was about 200% more. My brother from San Diego recommended this place and I couldn’t agree more.
All I can say is finger licking F-good, Holly Sh*t, this is as authentic as you can get, the noodles had so much flavor and the Pekin Spareribs were falling off the bone and the sauce was out of this world 🌎 🤤 Even my Boy smashed his noodles... LoL 😂
Had the radish with beef stew and rice. It was very tasty, with a hint of anise. I would order it again. If you are looking for a small, authentic restaurant like in Hong Kong or China, this is the place for you.
Food is really tasty! We are brócoli 🥦 beef and specialty house rice 🍚 and both are great!!
Great restaurant, we ordered the wonton soup with vermicelli and braised tofu beef and they were both amazing. Nice friendly staff and they take credit card as well. It’s not a fancy place but def the food hits the spot.
