I am the lover of that four letter word Food. Havana has come to San Francisco all in the magic food of Media Noche. Last week a newcomer ask me what's my favorite restaurant in San Francisco and I named one which would cost you about $200 to get out of there with the great taste of food on their plates. I ate at Media Noche this Saturday Carnaval weekend and I had a taste of Cuba. Bright open and friendly staff and our waitress was incredible very knowledgeable of the menu sometime with ingredients if not with a short story. I enjoyed my meal and will stop by offen on my way home from work. I took home a menu so I can call in ahead to pick up my food and I'm ready.
Food and beverage are both great. If I was local I would be a regular. I had the pork shoulder that I paired with a sour beer. Loved it.
The Cubano is amazing, the service and staff are fantastic, and the ambiance is lovely!
Fabulous atmosphere and delicious food with an exceptional, friendly staff

Best stop of the day i Mission
This place is wonderful!!! The food is fresh & delicious! Excellent vegetarian & vegan options for me, plus meat choices that people said were great. Delightful agua fresca mimosas! The atmosphere is really nice, pretty tiles & plants & good music, it feels very breezy & sweet.
I came across it by chance while walking, and so sadly, it's only going to be open for 1 more week!!!
So from now until sat Oct 28th, every day 11:30 - 8pm, go have some super tasty cuban food!!
This restaurant is a breath of fresh air in the area - full of personality, flair, and goodness. My favorite item is the pork bowl. Delicious, good portions. Be sure to ask for the green hot sauce 😉
Quite nice. Tried the media noche cubano amd the chicken Celia sandwich also got some pork shoulder n rice. Nice, needs a touch more kick here and there but good. Really liked the Celia sandwich's dynamic flavors, nice coconut slaw, id add a jalapeño or 2. Great service and cute atmosphere. Would return.
Lovely people, BEAUTIFUL interior, and DELICIOUS food! Portions are pretty hefty! I could share 2 dishes with total 3 people. We got both the vegetarian sandwich and bowl options - Gloria and Pobrecito, respectively - and they were LOVELY!!! Mmmm!! I dream of the Pobrecito bowl often. The squash was beautifully cooked.
Fantastic! Will definitely seek this place out again next time I'm around~
I don’t how it is that I’ve only discovered this place… what a gem of a restaurant!
This restaurant is charming and the service is great. There’s both indoor and outdoor dining and very kid friendly.
The food here is Cuban inspired and very tasty. I ordered the El Cubano Sando and my wife got the salad. The ingredients are all fresh and the flavors authentic. The kiddos loved the plantain chips.
This restaurant also has a food truck, so I’ll be sure to look out for that around the City!
Tried a little bit of everything. Hubby and I were satisfied all around. Great outdoor seating area, the Media Noche sandwich (which is the Cuban on Brioche) was absolutely amazing. The Celia was also wonderful. We tried both types of empanadas they too were delicious. Friendly service, quick eats with lots of flavor. will definitely be back sometime soon.
Love the vibrant colors and corner location of this hip Cuban spot in the heart of the Valencia corridor. We had a lovely lunch sitting in the window seat bar counter. The ensalada with pollo was delicious and refreshing. I love the croquetas too with their bright green dipping sauce. The iced cafe con leche was too sweet for me and the ropa vieja bowl my friend ordered looked yummy and very filling with black beans and rice. Overall a fun experience and would def go back!
(This review is for their food truck.) I haven't had many cubano sandwiches in my life, but this one tasted authentic when I took a bite. All the flavors mixed well, like it should, and then the crispiness of the bread for texture made it a joy to eat. I would get it again if the craving is there.
Delicious, healthy options in the Mission. They now have plenty of seatings in their parklet.
The fried chicken sandwich was juicy and flaky! Pack with flavors!
The coconut slaws with it was also a great add!
Clean, fast, and efficient! I would recommend this place for friends who are looking for a healthy meal!
So tried this Cuban sandwich and awesome salad and chips. Vegetarian option. Loved the food and portion was good. Safety measures are followed. It was filling. It was tasty.
Ordered online through the Toast app (very easy), and it was all ready and packed beautifully when I arrived at the declared pickup time.
Better than that-- the food is gorgeous - in both taste and appearance. I ordered the Pobrecita (squash, black beans, rice and slaw) and two sides (avocado and chicken). Hoping to stretch across 2 meals, the portions and flavor didn't disappoint! Delicious!
Delicious. A must-try in SF. The El Cubano is extremely juicy and flavorful. Even from the first bite you get a sense of delishessness. There was a huge portion of pork in the sandwich so it was value. All in all cheesy, meaty, mustardy goodness. The Celia as well is just as good. Their chicken is so juicy and crispy. It's hard nowadays to find a chicken sandwich that's actually crispy. They use a coconut slaw which is new to my taste and it was a wonderful flavor journey. The coconut provides a tropical taste which contrasts the crispy chicken. The Picadillo Empanada is a wow as well. It is actually crispy. The beef was so flavorful and the fruit inside was sweet. The green sauce is such a great compliment.
Wonderful! I felt like I was transported to the Cuban island with their flavorful food and vibrant atmosphere. Their salad had the best dressing: fresh and tangy.
Cute Cuban eatery with amazing marinated porked dishes. The cubano and the lechon asada were delicious, and big enough for a meal and a half for two people.
Hip Cuban eatery in the heart of the Mission. Absolutely huge portions if you order a bowl. The ceviche was fresh and tasty, but you really come here to try a Cuban sandwich. Fortunately, it doesn't disappoint, with a perfect balance of mustard, meat and bread. The ambience and decor is excellent, though it could be even better if they stick to playing Cuban music exclusively rather than pop songs. Check out the restroom just for the wallpaper.
Media Noche has some tasty gems on their menu such as the coconut slaw and the black bean and cheese empanadas. The service is usually fast. My only complaint is that they under-salt the food but I just drench it with their green sauce.
