Jin dobre! Do i really want to rate and promote this place, so that You, the other Non Polish Person may possibly be influenced to come, and take up even more time and space from the actual Polish grandmas that just want to come for their regular shopping, get some bread and a little something for the week, and not have wait for some another Non-Polish Person who doesnt know how to pronounce anything and asks what is everything, and has more questions about everything, and orders too much of everything and is always holding up the line for everyone who always shows up right after? Because then they will probably be more annoyed looking at me. And I may have to cut my order short, go around the block and try again to get what I want. Seriously though, the staff are always super nice and friendly. And I dont know if granny is really annoyed-- it may just be her stoic face, a lines engraved by experiences that I couldn't imagine-- especially if she really came from Poland pre 90s. I did see some crazy lines there in '87 just before the commies got the boot. But the charcuterie here is epic. Its something old world that you don't get anywhere else. Some of the best smoked sausages I have had. Liverwurst. Smoke rib bacon. Head cheese, sausage loaf, and so much more. I also love their assortment of spicy ketchup. Maybe they should have special shopping hours for NPPs? Kind of like tourist dining hour (anything before 8) in Spain and Portugal... But yeah just try not to come to often and cut into my quota.. thanks

Hands down my favorite Deli in SF. My wife's family is from Poland, and we come here to get everything we need for Wigilia (Polish Christmas Dinner). Now that I have a chest freezer I also stock up on Polish, Veal, Summer, Garlic, and Hunters Sausages. The bacon is amazing and they have a whole bunch of bottled krauts, vegetables, mustards and other groceries. My boys love getting all of the different candies and cookies they have available. There are also Pierogis! Check with the man at the counter, these are not advertised. They come frozen, typically kraut, potato, cheese (or some combination) and some times fruit and cheese. They also have fresh polish cheesecake, poppy cake and all kinds of pickled fish.

Incredible place full of great European specialties. Enjoyed the smoked pork, sliced just right. The homemade cake by the owner's auntie was divine. The "Siberian" permeni cooked at home in chicken broth (see photo) were truly divine. The cabbage salad was all right. Will be back!

This is where you go when you want real sausage with or without fillers. Sausage where you can taste the difference compared to store-bought brands

A Friend and I were getting very hungry and popped into this little Polish deli on a whim. It brought back memories of all the little Polish markets I grew up around back East. The friendly owner would nod yes, "I have that" while he made our sandwiches — mine a beer kielbasa on a hoagie with fresh kraut, yum! Easter approaching, they even have Butter Lambs. Great prices and quality meat.
