We came here for brunch and all the food is AMAZING! Highly recommend the tofu with fried egg, everything is wonderfully seasoned and flavorful. The wait staff was wonderful and rum punch bowl was yummy.

SUPER! Friday night after a hard work week, I stumbled across the place online. To begin with, they have a DJ spinning great relevant music. Really good tunes. I sit at the bar and strike up a conversation with super friendly bar staff and order a tasty drink. What caught my eye online were the numerous vegan options. No disappointment there. The black pepper tofu is awesome. Tasty, hearty, filling. I just wish the “small eats” portion was a little less because when combined with the fried plantains (also from the small eats menu) is just too much! So my big complaint: too much food. Touchdown Kaya.

Showed up around 1pm on a Friday and say right down. I was presently surprised with the lunch menu. I’ll definitely be back for the jerk chicken salad and the curry. The vibe is great, the building is really cool, and the staff was super nice.

For limited Jamaican food options in SF, Kaya is fairly decent. The service was great, the ambiance is chill and the drinks delicious, but the mains lacked the Jamaican spice and flavors I've come to expect from Jamaican food. Perhaps I'm used to the mom and pops hole the wall Jamaican joints and Kaya seemed to be on the upscale side of the spectrum.

The food is great and something you won't find very many places. I highly recommend the black pepper tofu, just save yourself time and order two. Family style is definitely the way to go because you're going to want to try a lot of things. I hope to be there on a Friday or Saturday some time so I can try the goat stew. Drinks are also good and a little different than the usual cocktail list.

The place smelled irressistable . The whole ambiance was chill. The chicken smelled delicious and looked crispy and juicy. Staff in the kitchen aren't ostracised in the back , making food and prepping in silence. No they are an integral part of the restaurant you can watch every step of preparation it took to make your specific dish. Thumbs up in my opinion. I will have to actually try a dish for myself . At the time I was only picking up a paid order for Postmates delivery, with all of that said though. This is definitely on my list to check out

Great ambience. Love the Bar and the care they take in making their cocktails. Really impressive selection. I only tried one dish, the salt fish fritters, and I quite liked them. However I can not speak about the food with authority unless I try some more. Recommend this spot for a date or a meeting spot before a show or the symphony.
