If I could rate this place higher I would. Best Japanese food I’ve ever had seriously. If you are in the area it is more than worth the stop. Reasonably priced and so so tasty. Best tofu I have ever had. Raw fish is beyond fresh you’d expect it to still be breathing. Quality of not only food but the
We went here on a date night. It was 8:30p on a Saturday, no wait and pretty empty. The staff were super friendly and nice, and the size of the pieces were all really great. We spent about $110 but got a good amount of food and both had a large glass of sake. The Chef's sushi special is a great bang
Delectable and fresh sushi at a great price. We each got the chef choice plate which consisted of a roll and 7 nigiris. One plate is only 25ish dollars! This is seriously THE best place to go if you’re looking for quality fish at a good price. I would much rather prefer this place over any “sushi re
Dropped by for an early dinner. Restaurant was small but the food was quite good. Ordered a number of rolls and nigiri and the fish was good. The ikura however didn't taste fresh but still was good. The homemade tofu was excellent and would get it again.
Amazing spot!!! Food was delicious, service was impeccable, and vibe was so warm. Family owned restaurant with the best sushi prices in the the area. Fish was really fresh. Tempura crispy. We can’t wait to go back!
Good sushi at a reasonable price for the most part. The cooked dishes are also quite good. The service leaves a bit to be desired, and the space is very small and cramped, but if you're looking for good, authentic Japanese food, it's worth it. This is definitely the only good Japanese place in the C
One of the best and most authentic japanese spots in the city! The service is great and the food is comforting and very home-style. We ordered the oboro tofu, okura beef, mackerel + bittermelon sunomono, yosenabe, chirashi don, purple sweet potato yukan and strawberry mochi. Everything was amazing
Really cute and cozy restaurant! All the food are so delicious and the service is great :) Really recommend their Ichigo Daifuku!! So good!!
Cozy Japanese restaurant. We ordered the sushi delux, rainbow roll, unagi, and purple sweet potato yokan. The sushi was great, fresh fish, unagi was super tasty. The wasabi here seemed stronger than other places I have been to. Service was also good.
Phenomenal food for a very reasonable price. Unique experience with a lot of things fresh made and better than normal like the tofu and gyoza. Recommend going as just two people to avoid a long wait and ordering some things off the specials menu up on the wall.
Fresh and high quality ingredients. However, I felt uncomfortable with the services. This place is pretty restricted and inflexible. The servers did not allow us to watch the video while we were waiting for the food. The charge you 3% if you pay by credit card. They did not serve or offer us any wa
Simple and relaxed sushi place, the menu is compact but the quality of the items served does not disappoint, the place is small but has an adequate flow of customers and it is hardly necessary to wait for a table.
Authentic Japanese place! The sake (salmon) sashimi just melts in your mouth. Definitely order the tofu. The ikura was so fresh 😍 Would love if they had cha soba or udon on the lunch menu.
Absolutely love this place. Small, no frills, no reservations neighboorhood spot. Some of the most authentic, clean, perfect Japanese food I’ve ever had in America. Monkfish liver, eggplant with miso and walnut are my favorites. Tomago is homemade (I assume everything is), all nigiri and sashimi are
Great sushi at a reasonable price! I tried the regular chef’s sampler which comes with one roll and 7 pieces of nigiri. It was the perfect amount of food and great pieces of fish. Highly recommend!
Love this Japanese joint! It used to be my favorite but the wait was long. Surprisingly on a Friday night, the wait wasn't bad at all. Love their fresh tofu, black cod and desserts!
Pretty fresh sushi and cozy place. But I don't understand the hype since I've been to a restaurant with similar food and vibe but less pricy. I did not take a picture of the popular tofu dish since it was plain to me. You can get that tofu in any supermarket and they taste the same. Also, the servi
The ceviche, poke roll, tuna belly steak(must have), sake nigiri and sake hand roll were so good I wasn’t able to take a pic but remembered I wanted to review at the eggplant, and desserts. Can’t wait to come back already and try the hand maid tofu
