Dispensa Italian Charcoal Kitchen - San Francisco - Photo album

What a lovely little restaurant! I LOVE finding new restaurants like this because the food is always good. Was looking for a new restaurant to try, when I saw the words charcoal and grill. I love charred bits! Especially the kind you get from coal! And boy was that meat smoky, crispy, and juicy! My
Absolutely amazing restaurant with fantastic staff. We started with the bread which was fresh out of the oven and that alone showed us how great the quality of the food is. For our main dishes, we had the ribs and Cornish hens. Both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The server also recommended
A cute restaurant located in the downtown area. Burrata D.O.P is great and fresh for starters. The Cornish Hen is juicy and yum! We also ordered the rib-eye and we really enjoyed it :) I would love to come again😻
I rarely post reviews, but my dinner was sincerely one of the best I've had in SF in a very long time! The calamari stew and ribeye were superb, and wines were magnificent!
Pleasant and relaxing environment, beautiful music, very kind and helpful staff, attention to detail but above all delicious food. The octopus is very soft and very tasty and the crème brûlé is a unique experience.
Charming little place with with super friendly staff. The game hen was excellent. The starters, sides, crema cotta, and even the bread were all delicious!
The service was fast and very friendly. We sat at one of the chefs tables. The chef also serves you at these tables. Awesome experience and delicious food. The pinsa and house made pickles were delicious. A great wine list with quite a few Italian reds and whites available by the glass or bottle
Into organic gardening I am all about farm to table. The vegetables were so fresh! This restaurant was recommended by a chef and the food was delectable! We had to try the octopus, pork belly, pork chop, ribeye, fish of the day, and both salads. The 24 hour slow cook and then done over charcoal
This is one of the rare occasions when I wish I had 6 stars. This place is fantastic. Everything is cooked on their charcoal grill and the depth of flavours is incredible. The food is undeniably Italian, but the execution is beyond amazing. Absolutely you have to try the Cornish han! All that being
Excellent. They cook all hot dishes in an amazing charcoal fired oven. Steak, eggplant parmesan, and bread were awesome. The service was great, and the chef spent time showing me the kitchen and helping me find the wine they were serving in my home town. Highly recommend.
