Amazing small bites. Great for sharing. I love the salmon rice. Ensure to order it at the beginning as it takes 30 minutes. Make sure to look at the specials, too! Amazing sashimi and other dishes like braised pork belly.
Delicious food, great service! I loved the zaru tofu (not pictured). Wine was pricey but the overall experience was well worth it.
Despite short staffed today, the service is great and the food is awesome and perfectly executed. The shio koji specialty is greatly appreciated. We truly enjoyed!
Delicious small plates! Perfect for sharing. Try the specials!! The yakitori is phenomenal. Order your rice first as it takes 30 minutes.
The food here is great. Traditional Japanese cuisine that goes far beyond sushi. We come often and we love it. A little on the pricey side, but you pay for quality. I read other reviews saying the service is terrible. I disagree. The servers and the owner are really nice and attentive. It is a bit s
I really enjoyed my experience at Yuzuki. The food was artfully prepared, beautifully done and delicious. I ordered a bunch of small plates including the tasty tofu. The atmosphere is one of a small family-owned restaurant. A refreshing change from the usual hyper-paced, cattle feeding experience t
The food here was excellent. My GF and I really loved the fried tofu and salmon belly. The skewers from the grill are amazing, I shed a tear after my first bite of the pork belly. Highly recommend if you like a variety of small dishes.
We had an absolutely amazing experience at Yuzuki. We tried a little of almost every single item in the menu, including the specials and were constantly surprised by how deliocious each and every dish was. I hesitated to order a couple items which seemed a little strange, or potentially "far out" fo
My mouth is watering just thinking about all the dishes we had at Izakaya Yuzuki! We went for a friends birthday and had a table of about 10-12 people and spent approximately $80/person on food and alcohol. Every dish was amazing, I recommend that if you order the clay rice, get it with salmon and
Outstanding place from beginning to start. Chicken, tempura, green tea ice cream. The sake selection was out of this world and the staff super attentive. This is one of the few Japanese restaurants I would recommend in sf. The rice was just perfect!
This place was delicious. Simple, yet amazingly cooked. We really enjoyed the dumplings, tuna tataki, chicken skewers and the salmon rice. For some extra fun we tried the sake flights, and learned a lot about what sakes we do and don't like!
Perfect for a date or long Thursday night dinner to catch up with a girlfriend. The portion sizes may seem small but are plentiful if you order the multi-course offering. I loved how each dish was not overly seasoned and delicately put together. My most absolute favorite was the chawan mushi (gently
Simply amazing. The expertise in their use of salt Koji is evident in the flavorful and mouth watering dishes. Their made in house tsukemono was mind blowing. I absolutely loved the wagyu beef. It was tender, cooked just right, and just got better the longer you had it in your mouth. Their dessert w
This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever had. When you are sick of sushi and ramen, please come here is comes for tapas. It might be pricy but man, that's totally worth it.They offer great rice, grilled salmon, sake and urchin. Wish I could find here earlier. Will be back.
4 stars for food, 3 stars for value, 4 stars for service. Highly recommend the chicken kara-age. The yakitori were also delicious. The only underwhelming item was the Albacore Tataki. It's also on the pricier end with items such as plain rice costing $15. Overall, I would go again.
