Schroeder's - San Francisco - Photo album

This was the most AMAZING German food I've ever had...and I was stationed in Germany for 4 years, so that's saying something! The Pork Shank was perfectly prepared...and the sauerkraut, red cabbage and mash potatoes put the whole meal into legendary status. Topped it off with some incredible Hefewei
Took my parents here for a unique experience and they loved it! We ordered two beer flights for drinks, and for food got Kartoffel tots, Jager schnitzel, Bavarian Crispy Pork Shank, and One sausage platter with two sausages - Frankfurter and Sicilian. The portions are huge but we did our best to fi
Nice hidden gem. Casual German restaurant with friendly, informative, and quick service. Food was excellent but filling.
Went here for the first time in years! The place got a full make over prior to the pandemic and it is beautiful inside and much bigger then I remember. I was there for an event, so we had buffet lunch, but the variety was great and overall the food was good. I will be back to try the regular menu f
The pretzel is great. Be sure to get the cheese. The chicken schnitzel sliders and the pork shank are also really good. I would skip the loaded tots. More than anything they were too salty.
Love the vibe! Affordable prices, great atmosphere, and good food. The staff were welcoming, efficient, and accommodating. I was told that Schroeder's is an SF institution, and I can confirm that it lives up to the hype! They have an all-day happy hour menu on Mondays, which was when I was able to
Very good schnitzel and spaetzle. The pretzel is also amazing and very much worth getting the beer cheese with it. I got the sour beer and the cider on tap, which were a little pricey, but not bad at all. Had a great time.
This huge interior has a fantastic atmos. The schnitzel, pretzel and beer all great. Really fun spot.
Amazing Oktoberfest beers and bratwurst. Their mustard is top notch, so is service
I went for a work event and I was thankful they had at least 2 vegetarian options, sausage and a veggie burger. The burger came with tots (which were delicious) and the pretzels with mustard were also excellent. They had good local beer choices, too
