Wooden Spoon - San Francisco - Photo album

Super cute and cozy brunch place on Market that's open everyday! It looks tiny from the outside, but is actually really big inside and has lots of seating options, including 2 separate counters (I love a good counter). Portions were not huge, but the food was good and everyone working was very nice
This place did not disappoint. We got the Swedish waffles (crepes) with lemon curd and lingonberry jam, and they were perfectly cooked with a rich, balanced sweetness—an unforgettable dish. We also ordered the soft scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and I was blown away by the texture and flavor of e
Cute place with lots of wooden utensils on the walls as you might guess but the food was good too. Kind of crowded on a Saturday but not too bad of a wait. Big spoon and avocado toast were what we tried. The house potatoes were really good and we were lucky to get an extra free potatoes! The big spo
Dog friendly brunch spot! The food is really pretty and aesthetically pleasing. Also love the ambiance: lively, pretty, and perfect for catching up with friends. Would recommend!
Recommend: The Big spoon Hearty and filling brunch set. Bacon was juicy and cooked to perfection. Sunny side ups were luscious and creamy. Pancakes were aromatic and buttery - amazing combination with maple syrup and choice of berry fruits. Staff were kind and attentive.
Cute and cozy cafe with good options. Tried Avocado toast and the Morning Bowl, Hot Chocolate and French Toast for dessert. The French toast was amazingly soft and tasted good.
I have been here twice. Service was great the first time. Today was a bit chaotic. It took needing to call attention to ourselves to be able to order. Water was not refilled until we paid the check. But the food was good and I will chalk it up to an anomaly. Update: I have been here several more ti
5 stars for the professionalism. My comments represent 3 orders from 3 people. I ordered a side of potatoes and at the bottom of the bowl, after having eaten some, I saw pieces of bacon. I am vegetarian, and mentioned it to the server and they discussed with their manager and they apologized, took
Popular brunch spot with a big waitlist… but never takes too long to get a seat! Everything absolutely hit the spot. Coffee that packs a punch, impeccably cooked potatoes, eggs cooked precisely to the T…. everything was so good. Definitely worth the wait and a brunch highlight in town!
Bright and bustling atmosphere with super friendly service, solid drinks and delicious food! Can't wait to return to try lunch!
I love a good breakfast and this place certainly filled my love of that meal. The food here is both plentiful and delicious. Most surprised by the amazing greens they have, the arugula side for my eggs benedict were superb. The crepes were light and perfectly cooked with or without the jams. I got g
This is a neighborhood gem. The entire staff is courteous and attentive. They care. The place has a great casual atmosphere. The menu has good classics but also changes regularly. I’ve dined here at least 10 times and never been disappointed.
Definitely a go-to spot for me near my place! I have yet to get something here I didn’t like and the food always comes out super quick. The price point is super nice and definitely encourages me to go! Wait staff is excellent and I always feel well taken care of here. Thank you guys!
Cute brunch cafe with friendly staff. Pretty annoying that you can’t make a reservation and they are intense about your whole party being there on time, which is understandable. But for the long wait, the brunch didn’t exceed expectations. Pretty good avocado toast and French toast - but nothing you
This place is super cute and trendy! It's a little pricey but so is everything in SF. We received great service and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Would decibel go back!
Had the big spoon, huevos divorciados, biscuit & gravy, banana & pecan pancakes, and the house hash. The side of potatoes was nice & crispy. Everything was delicious and had generous portion sizes. The free flow coffee refills was much appreciated by the group considering our 4 am start to the day.
Great breakfast. The outside does not do justice to what lies inside. As soon as you own the door you are greeted with a busy bar area, and then further back the restaurant opens up into an open kitchen and more seating. The breakfast menu is large, innovative, and priced reasonably. I found many th
Mom and I went with the house favorites. Really well executed and flavorful. Cheerful and apt staff!
I love breakfast food. I do. My bar is high. The Wooden Spoon does it well, even better than well- perfect. The drip coffee is dark, and they kept it coming. The staff is kind and seem happy- like they like their jobs and one another. Something I don’t think happens often. We sat at the counter and
