Bang San Thai Cuisine - San Francisco - Photo album

Food was good. I like spicy food but others in my party did not. So you have to be sure to ask how hot a dish will be. I had a good taste of 6 dishes that were served, all were quite tasty. For kids or the passive ethnic food eater you can't go wrong with the egg-fried rice or even better the crab-f
Some recent reading put me off of pig. So I tried this halal Thai spot. I had red curry chicken, my daughter had steamed broccoli. Very good. Nice heat on the curry, too. I always ask for my curry spicy, and so few Thai places oblige, so I'd rate this 4.5 if I could. Prices were quite reasonable. Ab
I used to live a few blocks from this place and this place was my go-to Thai place for pickups and dining in. If you like mango, you got to try the Mango curry tofu here. They use Phillipines Mangoes for this and not the Mexican ones so the mango and the curry is delicious. Service is decent, nothin
Always great when a restaurant accomodates customers. As a vegan who does not eat grains (rice), they were happy to substitute mung bean noodles with the veggie curry. Also love the different hot spices/sauces options available, as well as the free wifi hotspot. The prices were also much lower tha
Spicy food filled with flavour and large portions. It was a real treat for the taste buds. And a bang for the buck. The beef was chewy though however it was a great meal for it's price value.
I am from Paris and I really enjoyed the food and it not expensive at all. I have been there twice. And people are really nice. I recommend it. The chicken strips and the soups are tasty. As we say in French there is no twice without a three times...Jamais deux sans trois. Maybe I go there for dinne
I come here with co-workers when were in the San Francisco office. The place is small and fills up quickly at lunch time. We always end up getting rice plates, I usually get their BBQ pork plate. It's just the right amount of food for me.
They have quite a few choices of lamb, duck and trout dishes, a little more options than your common thai place. They do have larb and regular items like chicken/beef satay and pineapple fried rice, all good. No problem with ordering take out from them.
Food is amazing. Service is fantastic and prices are very competitive. Unfortunately Bag San is closing in a couple of days. I would HIGHLY recommend eating at Bang San before it closes its doors!
Great food, quick and friendly service. Can do custom orders - we are here on whole 30 and got the curry customized. So good we went twice that day
Could be a hit or a miss at times but usually very good curries and stir fries. Service can be a little delayed sometimes when they are understaffed but the folks here are polite.
Foods are tasty and great service. One of the best Halal thai restaurants in Bay Area.
