Can't believe it took me this long to try this place, but I'm glad I finally did! The ingredients were quality and paired together well, especially the Green Goddess! It had some of the fattest ricotta cheese chunks I've ever seen on a pizza, and it tasted great with the pesto and black olives. I wo
Detroit-styled pizza served in San Francisco. Delicious slabs of pie being offered for delivery. Detroit-style usually consist of a rectangular pan pizza with sauce and brick cheese. This combination usually results in a crispy/chewy crust with a heavy drizzle of sauce on top. They’ve nailed it. The
As someone who loves a veg heavy pizza- the green goddess is a miss, but the pepperoni one is KILLER. The toasted pepperonis really add a lot of crunch and flavor. If you can make it during happy hour (2pmish) the prices are great. Garlic knots are not very garlicky but the spice is nice.
The sweet Bianca pizza slice was delicious - but like others have mentioned it’s extremely greasy and oily. $14 for a slice was also quite steep, although it’s more like 2 small slices. Would come again if in the area
Ordering the Smokin’ Hot Mother Clucker Detroit pizza from Joyride as a to-go option turned out to be a stroke of luck! When we arrived for pick-up, the pizza was hot out of the oven – talk about perfect timing! The BBQ chicken paired with Bone Suckin’ BBQ sauce, mushrooms, red onion, pepperoncini,
Delicious pizza! Definitely recommend if you’re in the mission area. This place has so many good choices of toppings. It’s great to mix and match the pizza. Very filling for a quick lunch. You can’t go wrong with any of the options here.
Well, I walked in and didn't know what to expect but the window showed all these amazingly looking delicious pizzas and it was definitely worth it!!
You are caught at the window. On display are the yummy pieces of pizza. My wife and I were like hell yeah. We got the pesto sauce pizza and some garlic knots. There was ample seating. The staff were efficient and we didn’t have to wait long for our half pizza, two huge pieces. Since Arinell’s closed
Joyride was a ride of joy lol. Jokes aside, solid Detroit style pizza! The crunch on the crust and the softness of the cheese and breading of the main part was great! Got the cheese pizza and the cinnamon toasts which were both really tasty. They gave this really mildly sweet sauce with the cinnamon
Every time when I passed by Joyride Pizza, I thought it smelled like heaven Thick, warm, and chewy crust. The rich toppings surprised my taste buds. Classic Detroit style pizza on focaccia crust. As a fan of thin italian pizza, I wouldn’t say that the pizza here is my personal favorite, BUT I had
Easy place to order on kiosks. Comes out p fast and the pizza is amazing. The pizza smell just brings you in. 10/10
I’ve been here a few times and it’s always really good! I really like the Detroit still, square pizzas and this place always has them by the slice. The wait is usually not too long, I like that they head the slice up for you. My favorite is the pepperoni and sweet heat pineapple. Both are really go
Can’t say I was blown away by the pizza. Fits the bill for deep dish. Extra crusty on the edges if that’s what you’re looking for. Sauce could’ve been a bit more flavorful. Bread was pretty fluffy making it less filling and more like focaccia. Finally, wish they would’ve made the ranch less watery.
Pricey for a slice but still good. Not NY style or deep dish style but kinda their own square pizza. The fig jam was a bit too sweet for me but the meat lovers was great. Also, heads up they only have outdoor seating.
Just stumbled upon it on my way down Valencia to another restaurant, but couldn't help to stop in once I saw all the pizza in the window. It did not disappoint. The Meatzza, garlic knots, and Garden Goddess (?) were all amazing. My only critique is that the dough has a very cake-like crumb which jus
I ordered ahead for pick up at this location, and I got the eat your veggies pizza. This location sells slices, so you don’t have to commit to just one flavour or a whole pizza if you do not want to! This pizza had brussels sprouts, olives, mushrooms, basil, cheese, and I added pepperoni. I typicall
Good flavors and service. The dough was light and airy with a nice crispy cheese edge but we were wanting more cheese and sauce overall. One piece or 'half' a pizza was enough to share for two people as a lighter meal.
New York, Chicago, Rome, Naples. All cities I've visited to try their pizza! You've ever eaten something really good lately and you just go on a hunt craving to eat the same item at different places to see and taste the difference? That's been happening to me w/ Detroit-styled pizza! Thicker foc
