This is THE place to go for chewy soft crepes! Reminded me of the crepes I would get in Japan, something I can’t really find here. It’s soft, chewy, and filled with fresh fruit- we got the strawberry and banana with chocolate combo (no13). The staff was lovely, and a friendly old man who patiently asked if I was okay with whip cream and the type of crepe I wanted (original or green tea was the other option I believe). Even kindly showed me how to unwrap as I eat it without causing a mess.
Honestly with how cutesy it looked I thought it wouldn’t taste good but it was exactly what I was looking for! Highly recommend it if you are into soft chewy crepes. The mall also has sitting areas around the corner you can sit and enjoy it.
This is my go to crepe place because they have so many options. Tons of different flavors and creative toppings including green tea cheesecake and tiramisu! They also make the cutest crepes you will ever see!
Absolutely wonderful Japanese crepe place within Japan Town. The crepes come out beautifully decorated (and cute) exmplifying the Japanese nature. The crepes are amazingly soft and tasty. Oh, did I mention great prices as well? And SO MANY FLAVORS!!
My only issue was with the person taking the order. I told him what I wanted and he didn't recognize his own menu. Kept on asking for the item number. How would I know what number the crepe flavor is? And when I said I didn't know, he sort of blurted out that he couldn't memorize the entire menu. Perhaps I got unlucky here. Didn't leave a good experience ordering.
Tucked in the bustling hallways of Japan Center West Mall, Belly Good Cafe and Crepes is a dollop of sunlight! Bright colors, sweet and savory crepes and a very efficient staff. You can try out a boba tea and watch them make your crepe fresh! The ingredients are fresh and they make adorable faces in the crepes! Love. Love. Love it.
We been going to this place for like 8 years straight and it out favorite crepe place. They close at 6pm but we always manage to go from Millbrae to japan-town. The mix is very milky and soft. The crepes are always so cute and delicious. I recommend to ask with light Nutella since it can taste very very sweet. The staff is really friendly and fast. The price has beeen increasing but it’s worth it. Also is a very good spot where you can explore the other stores and restaurants.the crepes are around $11 and the parking for 3hrs is around $8
I finally tried this place during the cherry blossom festival and I really enjoyed it! The crepe was super cute and was one of the best dessert crepes I've ever had. They are also very generous with the ice cream and fillings (unlike the other crepe place on the upper level, which I didn't care for). The crepe part was also super soft and delicious.
We got the green tea special (green tea ice cream, condensed milk, matcha cheesecake, and peach) and it was sooooo good. I wish the green tea ice cream had more green tea flavor, but other than that, it was awesome. I also love the cute animals they make out of them. Super cute! : ) Looking forward to coming back and trying their other variations!
The crepe with honey was absolutely tasty. Very soft and sweet-smelling crepe skin. A paper list that you can add whatever you want. I added pudding, peach, pineapple and daifuku. The taste was amazing! And the cute animal face ice cream was delicious too!
The character faces caught my attention online!
There’s so many options which made it overwhelming for me. I ended up pointing to a review photo and got that. It was a green tea crepe + green tea ice cream. Cream + strawberry inside. You can inform them if you don’t want the whip cream!
The crepe was a bit too flimsy and they use printer colored paper to wrap your crepe.
I wanted my kiddos to experience Japanese crepes and this cute little shop delivered! The creeps were made fresh to order (as my littles eagerly watched in anticipation) and they were delicious. My girls loved the animal faces, and they were tickled when the staff gave them stickers.
The crepes here are so cute! Kids will love it and so will adults for a little treat in Japantown :) I think it's worth the line-up.
