Lovely izakaya. We had dinner here around 7pm on Thursday with no reservation, and was seated immediately. Food was great. Highly recommend the uni onsen tamago - incredibly fresh and flavorful.

The interior is like Japanese izakaya and there are even wooden booths. The food is actually very good -- definitely a cut above your usual San Francisco looks better than it is stuff. The beef kushiyaki was stupidly good, idk what they did to it.

Absolutely delicious! Had the Chirashi don and split the Chef's Choice nigiri with a friend. Both were superb, definitely well worth the price!

The happy hour menu has great food options and goes later 9-11 pm. Great deal. New late night dinner spot for me :)

Had the Chilean sea bass and the takoyaki. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Would recommend coming in once the grill gets going, as the smell of detergent was strong coming in at 5pm. Recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

Wow that fish was fresh! The sashimi platter was an excellent mix of very well cut fresh fish and cool presentation. Then came the Chilean sea bass, oh my, that just kinda melted in my mouth. Definitely will return when I want more of an authentic Japanese experience.

Fun dinner spot for drinks and some less than traditional Japanese dishes. Go with a group of friends or take your date there. Good sake selection! 🍶
