Troya - San Francisco - Photo album

We had one of the specials (a spiced watermelon salad), the roasted cauliflower, and the beef dumplings. The watermelon salad was a work of art, with tomato, mint, and spices, not your typical watermelon salad. The roasted cauliflower was SO SOFT I couldn't believe it. The beef dumplings were someth
September 2023: Stopped by for brunch and ordered the shakshuka. The dish was delicious. Eggplant and red peppers were blended with tomato and two eggs 😋. The dish came with some warm pita pieces that perfectly soaked up the sauce. Service was very friendly and I would definitely come back again fo
I must say, Troya is THE BEST Mediterranean in the city! We’ve tried a lot of the high end ones - but this one meets the fine balance between affordability and delicious taste. We had Warm Hummus with Lamb (could use more sauce), Red Lentil soup (DO add lemon in it), Lamb Shoulder - which was perfe
The ‘Egg’plant toast was the best breakfast I had in during 3 months in the US. Presentation says a lot, but if you could taste time, it was the eggplant and the muhammara in this meal. The slice of bread was serious (but still light and crunchy) as were the eggs and avocado. All served with a prop
Everything I tried was good. They had the watermelon salad special and from someone whos not a salad person, I couldnt stop putting it in my hole…pie hole. Turkish red wine recommended by the servers was great. Dont fill up on the apps, very tempting to, but DONT. Leave room for dessert also. Chocol
Hummus and cauliflowers are at another level. We ordered a second plate of cauliflowers. Definitely going back.
The service was exceptionally good: quick, attentive, accommodating, genteel. We were just trying to get out of the rain and warm up, so only ordered hot drinks and snacks (tea, coffee, the hummus & lamb appetizer) but it was so good, we stuck around and ordered dessert! I’ll go back for a full meal
This place is fantastic!!! I wish I could give them more stars. The staff is welcoming and super accommodating ( allergies) . The place is clean , great ambiance . The food - A M A Z I N G! We ordered the Vegetarian feast which it’s said it’s for two people . One thing: it was plenty food ( and this
I love Troya Mediterranean Kitchen on the hip Fillmore Street in San Francisco for its authentic and delicious cuisine. The Turkish brunch sampler for 2 ($60) is definitely something to share and write home about, especially if you’re a fan of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. My favorite i
recently enjoyed a delightful brunch experience at Troy Turkish Restaurant in San Francisco. This gem boasts exceptional service, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and a cozy, tastefully decorated interior. The knowledgeable staff provided prompt, attentive service, eagerly making recommendations and
Very cool place. Nice simple ambience. I went there a bit late for lunch and the sign said they were closed but they let me in. They were out of silverware. I ordered to go. The falafel in pita was good. The falafel wasn't oily or hard. They added a flavorful sauce as well. Spicy and nice. Cheese b
Seated and served quickly for some appetizers. Fabulous lentil soup, roasted cauliflower, and hummus. Basmati rice arrived in a reddish sauce, which was unexpected. Great Turkish hot tea. Quinoa salad was pretty good, but the lentil soup was the real winner here. Very nice staff.
This might be a crazy saying….but Troya is, and might be the best Mediterranean food I have had in sf, okay okay maybe the BAY AREA by FARRRR. What’s surprising is, I like Mediterranean food, but would never go out of my way because it’s just not my favorite. But I will happily go out of my way for
Excellent Turkish and Middle Eastern food. Very tasty.
I ordered the eggplant toast and everything about it was perfect. I was worried the eggplant might be too hard to eat on the toast but it was perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth. My partner ordered the lamb skewers and said it was some of the best seasoned lamb he’s ever had (and he’s Greek!) The p
The pita bread with the dips was really good! So was the crispy Brussels sprouts. The moussaka was not too great though.
everything is perfect!! love love honey butter and shakshuka! oh and the service is super friendly
Blown away by how good this food is. We got the red lentil salad, cauliflower, quinoa salad, dumplings. Everything was expertly plated, topped with generous herbs, and absolutely delightful. The kombucha champagne pomegranate cocktail was the best, though.
Drove an hour from East Bay during the ‘atmospheric river’ event and it was SO worth it! We started with the Dip trio - hummus, tzatziki, muhammara. It’s the best muhammara I’ve had here, and everything is made fresh!! We ordered extra pita because the portion was big! For main course we ordered the
