Its places like this that makes San Fran so great. A little place, tucked away with two rows of chairs like a Izakaya Alley in Tokyo. Beside me was a group of 5 friends. Behind me was a couple on a date. I was solo. Yet we all blended in to this tiny space, eating delicious Filipino food that was cooked just few feet away from us. Matt even gave me tips on how to make the garlic rice better. I asked Matt for advice and he told me to get the fried pork belly ($13, not on the menu) and the combo ($4) for second dish. He read my mind and got me the chicken in the cast iron pan. As soon as I got the plate, Matt said I should mix the egg all up in the rice (like Korean Bibimbap). I could’ve just eaten the garlic rice and been done. The fried pork belly and sizzling chicken were extra. The place has good food at reasonable prices with a young atmosphere that I wanted from my first visit to SF in over two years. They’re open till midnight most days and 3 am on weekends.

Great food. Every item I had was rich in flavor and cooked on spot. This small joint has a small galley kitchen that you watch them cook from the seating counter. Pay on the way out with the window outside. Credit accepted. I enjoyed the Paresilog (beef with spices), Sisigsilog (Chicken Sisig-sizzling), Lumpia, & ube macapuno pie. All very much worth it.

If you're craving Filipino food in the city, this is the place to go so you don't have to go too far. It's a pretty small hole in the wall type place with only bar seating, so don't expect too much conversation with your buddies here. I came for lunch by myself and it was perfect for that. The staff were all really nice and made sure I understood the menu and that I was enjoying the meal. Really good price-quality-portion size! I ordered a combo so that I can try different dishes and had food leftover for my lunch the next day. I highly recommend their lechon if they have it! It's a special they have and it's not on the menu. Super super yummy, crispy and flavorful. The chicken sisig is also delicious, and also good reheated the next day. I really want to go back with friends so I can try more dishes and their desserts!

The chicken dish at first glance looked like was fatty or oily, and burned at the bottom, but the first bite blew me away. Amazingly well flavored chicken with a little BBQ char taste to it. And the egg served on the garlic rice perfectly round out the dish. Lumpias We crisp, not too oily. Also the beef with spices was delicious. Staff was helpful, will be coming back.

I had been looking for a Filipino restaurant while in San Francisco and happily stumbled upon this place. It occupied a little nook near downtown where we were greeted upon entry. We sat at the bar which overlooking the kitchen because we like to see our food being made. The food came out fast and was really good--not as good as the Filipino breakfast in the Philippines, but still good.

Delightfully flavorful food, quick & friendly service, good for the pocket... What more do we need? Not a good place to dine in if the group size is bigger than two but can always get to gos. Can seat about 10 people but be prepared for a wait at peak timings. If you like fish and aren't scared of tiny (soft) bones, try the deep fried milkfish.... Yummmmm!

Little gem in the city! I’d say the Only Best Tasting Filipino food in SF. Lots of good things to say about this place. Worth a try for someone who never had Filipino food before, you’d love this place and the food, ofcourse! Definitely coming back!

I’m coming back to try that crispy pork. So wish they serve beer. These dishes would go great with it.

We got an order of the pancit, sisigsilog, and lumpia. Delicious food and made to order. The sisigsilog came in a hot pan and crisped up and came with garlic rice with an egg on top.great simple food done well.

I like all their silogs plates (meat + egg + rice), but the lechon kawali silog and Filipino spaghetti are the yummiest!! I always enjoy coming to this place everytime I'm in San Francisco!!

Tasty, with a very authentic touch of Filipino hospitality. I ordered the special lechon kawali. The pork was amazing, crispy but melt in your mouth! The longganisa was okay tho.

Food is delicious and comes out quick. Wish there was more on the plate though.
