LOVE Soma restaurant! Great place to unwind, relax, and enjoy great food and cocktails! Rami is the BEST bartender ever! Always attentive, personable, and great to converse with! This place will make you feel so welcome you won't want to go home!
I had the beef/lamb hamburger. When I mentioned I didn't want bread they put it in the most awesome lettuce wrap for me. The vegetables were beautiful and the taste was magnificent. I had the house wine it wasn't full body but it sure did pack a punch and was very fruit forward. The cheesecake looked and tasted marvelous. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
At SOMA Restaurant, Rami served us, who is the most friendly and extremely knowledgeable person about menu, the pizza and pasta are fantastic!
The pizza has a crispy crust with yummy toppings. It tastes amazing with gooey cheese, tangy tomato sauce, and fresh ingredients. Every bite is delicious!
And the pasta is like a trip to Italy! It’s cooked just right, and the sauces make it super tasty. Eating it feels like a big, comforting hug.
The restaurant feels nice, and the service is great. Overall, the food at SOMA Restaurant is awesome! It makes you want to come back for more.
While the food was... Well amazing in almost every way, The atmosphere severely dampened the experience. It was far far too noisy, there was hardly any music. Even if there was I couldn't hear it throughout all the yelling. However the waiter was very attentive and came to you without you really having to bother him. So the reason I'm giving this a three-star despite the amazing food is it was just too noisy and too small. But hey if you have a pair of headphones, you absolutely won't regret eating here
Ps The pepperoni and sausage pizza there is immaculate!
The service here is on point.
You can tell they really care to give you excellent service.
Attentive from the first hello to the time you cashout.
Delicious Italian cuisine can be had here. I had the spinach ravioli with red sauce. They give you Ample portions so come hungry
A little hidden gem!! The prosciutto pizza was seriously some of the best pizza I've ever had. The crust had a great cook on it, the sauce was slightly sweet with amazing fresh tomato flavor. The toppings were simple but divine. The caramelized onion is the perfect touch!!
The bruschetta was a little crispy for my taste, but that's just a preference thing. The flavors were spot on.
Highly recommend stopping in here, the food is authentic, fresh, and tasty!
The is a nice introduction to San Francisco hospitality. The pizza is great and the staff are warm and friendly. My favorite experience is sitting at the bar here ( I have been here twice) bar experience one time. The conversation was friendly, the regulars treated me like family and the bartender Rami aka Firooz is phenomenal. He is kind, courteous, and attentive. This experience makes me feel safe and at home. Take time to stop by if you are in San Fransisco
The salmon plate was good. My peer had the steak and he said it did not taste as good as expected. It could be missing the red wine pairing.
They help calculate the gratitude of 18% and include it on your bill so you won’t need to do any calculations.
Decent experience. I ordered the salmon w/ a Reisling and my boyfriend ordered the lamb and beef burger. His fries were standard yet good. The servers were friendly and attentive. The seating was comfortable. But, the bathrooms in the nextdoor hotel were great and clean!
Great atmosphere, tasty food. Everyone is so kind here too. I like the Mediterranean touch in their cuisine, my favourite is chicken shish kebab w/ salad. Don't forget to ask their white sauce. As starter bruschetta and homemade hummus are the best. Also, if you are more like in a meat side, they make their own bread for the burgers which is a big plus.
