Gardenias - San Francisco - Photo album

Possibly the best dining experience of our lives. Impeccable service, excellent wine, and incredible food from start to finish. We will definitely plan to come back next time we are in town.
Great neighborhood restaurant. The personnel is very kind and available. The food is well prepared and with fresh ingredients. Great the two salads/appetizers and the bread&butter too. The risotto was solid but missing a bit of flavor. Gnocchi were great. As for desserts, the pie was the best of the
12-31-2022 - Most of the times I forget this place when I am thinking of eating out. However every time I come here, I think to myself that I have to come back more often. Overall: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Food Ordered.. - Bread & Butter: Served warm so it was a good start. - Leeks
Great atmosphere, good food, and great service. Reservations are best if you want a table. We made a reservation for 1730, their opening time. Restaurant was clean, well decorated, comfortable chairs, with good lighting. Music was on a low volume that added to the ambiance but did not disturb conver
Delicious food, a bit overpriced though for the size of an entree, however is of a good quality spice and tenderness level. Cod was very juicy and melting from the second you bite it. Beets and citrus salad is of a new experience opening a desired taste of blood orange with beets complete with medi
Amazing food! This was a PBS-Check Please recommend restuarant. Especially loved the pork chop as a main dish and the brussel sprouts as appetizer.
Wow! We absolutely loved all the dishes (fig appetizer, risotto, ravioli, and salmon)! All were fresh, innovative, tasty and delicious. Wines were great too! Super cozy interior and nice view of baloney!
Cauliflower soup, ricotta ravioli, wine all fantastic. Make a reservation because it really fills up. Would absolutely come back.
Love this restaurant, food is devine, atmosphere is cozy & intimate, would be perfect for romantic dates.
The food was astounding, to every detail. The flavor profiles were unique and varied, not to mention mind-bendingly good. We are immense foodies, and this restaurant is now our favorite in San Francisco. The warm vibe, wonderful service, and calm atmosphere is a perfect complement to food that feels
All dishes had amazing flavors and wine paired well! Highly recommend! Restaurant is beautifully decorated. The desserts were delicious. Had a lot of fun!
So sad that Gardenias is closing. What a lovely restaurant. Go while they're still open in July if you're able.
Food is delectable! The Brussels sprouts salad was great as was the trout they were serving. However the one thing is that prices are just a bit too high for the portion size even by San Francisco standards, especially for a restaurant that has a neighborhood vibe, not fine dining by any means.
Amazing! The short rib and the gnocchi is phenomenal. Also, the service was outstanding- thank you Jeff! Def will be coming back on my next visit to SF.
This is one of my favorites in SF. We are frequent flyers. We love the scallops, but you really can’t go wrong with whatever you order. Each dish is well balanced. The place doesn’t have cocktails, which is the only thing missing.
Really solid food. Nice little neighborhood joint. The Apple mulberry crisp felt like It was made by my mom, a nice homemade feel. Would certainly recommend it was easy to talk in there. The hostess was super kind. The short ribs were very tasty.
Everything was perfect - from the owner greeting us on arrival, to a great wine list, a cozy and elegant space (and tables positioned so one can actually have a conversation), expertly prepared dishes (short ribs, duck leg, fig/burrata/prosciutto, gnocchi all superb), attentive service. Our only co
