Andersen Bakery - San Francisco - Photo album

A nice little pastry shop in the amazing Japantown Mall. We enjoyed the pastries, wish the taro roll was stronger in the taro flavor. The panna cotta and peach tart were both fantastic.
A nice place to stop for a snack and coffee after shopping through Japantown. They offer a variety of sweet and savoury pastries, including their Curry Pan buns. Soft and crispy with a beef curry filling. Lots of delicious looking cakes and tarts available too for special occasions.
Amazing bakery! Such great selections and they do get busy fast. I ordered the beef curry pan and it was very delicious. Savory amd creamy on the inside. If you love Japanese curry you'll love this!
Big selection of pastries, had couple and they were nice. Tables outside require a change, they are too dirty and old already, not pleasant to sit at at all.
Nice bakery in the Japan town mall, they have a great variety of excellent pastries. The atmosphere isn't fantastic but don't hesitate to stop by for the food. Anderson is actually a Japanese chain with a long history so it shouldn't surprise anyone why it's here.
Best bakery in Japan peace town. Yummylacious!!!!! Quick service. They do have a bench to sit and eat. Not very expensive. Love it. Egg sandwich 🥪 was yummy!
Curry bread as good as (if not better than) the ones I had in Osaka
Food is mostly good, some items might have been out too long. Espresso drinks are good. Staff seems stressed out, a bit short some times. Seating is crowded, sometimes there are no tables at all.
The curry buns were so good and fresh. The Ube cookie and roll were okay. Need more Ube
The croissant was okay, I guess if I had it fresh and the butter had not gotten all cold then it would have been great.
My go to are the fruit danishes. Looks like the sandwiches sell out pretty quickly in the morning, so i would try that if you see it available!
