Glad to be in a place that leans more towards authentic than fusion.
It's definitely one to check out because their Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy delicious, not sour like some. The ambiance was relaxing and the staff is great.
Theyre also not shy about spices. Food overall was appetizing and tasty. Even a simple garlic cheese naan will satisy your tastebuds.
For sure I will check this place out for buffet lunch because I want to try all the other dishes. Good thing im only half a block away.
Edit: 5/3/17 To go orders are really slow. Waiting a while for an order for one and then the naan was undercooked.
Edit: 6/1/17 Finally tried the buffet. Back to 5 stars. Very cheap for SF standards.
Edit: 8/18/17 Down to 2 stars for closing without notice during open hours.
Very Indian/ Punjabi style ambiance with mouthwatering food and beverages.
The staff is polite and very friendly. If you're not sure of what you want to order, they willl help you and recommend what you should order.
We ordered for Tandoori Paneer for appetizer. It was very soft and flavorful. For mains we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Dal Tadka. Paneer Tikka Masala was very tasty but the Dal Tadka was very thick and less appetizing.
They also serve hookah/sheesha in the restaurant.
A complete meal with complete satisfaction!
Truly authentic Indian cuisine serving Halal/Zabihah meat in a homey setting. Their food was absolutely delicious, specifically the Chicken Tikka Masala. Also make sure to order some fresh Naan, rice, and try their Lassi: a traditional yogurt blended smoothie-like delight. The peach Lassi is our favorite!
However, expect to spend 1-2 hours here (during dinner hours) as the kitchen is a bit slow preparing your fresh meal and the service is extremely slow. Our server visited us once in the 40 minutes we sat down at our table and that was just to take our order. They had food runners who brought us water and part of our food, but we had to flag our waitress down for the second half of our food. (Saturday @ 8:30pm) Others have also noticed this poor service during dinner time (even with a reservation) so I would recommend visiting on a weeknight or early on the weekend, around 6 pm for an authentic Indian experience!
Yelp & Google helped me find a true gem in SF. Food, ambiance & service were outstanding, delicious rich flavors, learned about butter parantha, like a Naan croissant, and Kashmiri Chai, highly recommended!
The ambiance was good we can feel the punjabi/indian atmospheres. The appetizers especially samosa bites was good. Overall a nice Indian restaurant.
I really enjoyed the food :) but they don’t Greet the diners the minute they walk in the door, I was waiting for more than 10 mins for a table and I was thirsty, I asked them for water but they didn’t bring it :(
Amazing food and service! By far my favourite spot to eat when it comes to desi food in the City. Especially love the chicken tikka fried they have (pictured below). Love bringing friends here whenever I can. Should be a must for anyone visiting the city!
#Hot #Rare Indian food in a comfortable nitelyfe setting. It's good stuff... the curries are rich, sizzlin' with spice and the tandoori is crispy and smoky. Take a seat on the second floor for the real experience. Ride this horse.
Good food and service. The rice and bread is sold separate but everything else is good.

Decent Indian food with reasonable price. The chicken tikka masala was a little disappointing.
