So good! We had a club sandwich and pastrami sandwich, both of them excellent. The waitress was very very nice, always smiling and very kind. Thank you!
Amazing breakfast in a slow setting! After trying to find a spot to eat and everything being busy, came here and was so pleasantly surprised. Very fast service and fantastic food. Loved the corned beef hash. Great ambiance too!
This legendary cafe was there on Castro back in the 90s, and unlike many businesses which have disappeared, is thankfully still there! Sassy waitresses work hard to serve the breakfasts from the large menu and all is good value.
This is the nicest breakfast I've had in my life. Excellent food (perfect eggs!) and charming staff. Loved it!
We ate here a few days ago and it was basically perfect. Fast service, affordable and served hot. I mean seriously, we had our food 5 minutes after ordering it. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast!!
Great iconic restaurant in the Castro. Service is very attentive and friendly. Coffee is fresh and made locally. The food was good. I had the omelet with toast and hash browns. The omelet was soft and had just the right amount of filling. Prices were reasonable. Lots of regulars come here. They ha
A MUST!!! I was literally waiting to review this place. I LOVE IT!!! Not only the location is awesome, also the staff is super friendly and helping a lot. I could even mix and match my 2-2-2 breakfast with a special pancake they offered and it was served all in an exceptional, professional and lovin
Food I had the cove combo, two eggs, two bacon and half waffle. It was good. I accompanied it with a mango mimosa and that was good and refreshing. The vegetarian curry is good as well. Service Staff is awesome, super friendly and attentive. We got here like 30 min eights before they closed and the
Bottomless mimosas ALL DAY! Must purchase an entree but you'll be thanking yourself once you realize how quick they refill your glass. The brie Beyond burger was delicious, I can't wait to go back even just for that.
Loved the chicken sandwich with provolone and pesto. It is as well presented as it is delicious. I would highly recommend!
We come for atmosphere- reminded of the god ( good old days) we love- the food is Castro st damn decent & the atmosphere makes my gut unclench as I muscle memory remember the high days of Castro in early 80’s Wonderful place to meet with friends- and revel in the happiness, even if momentary- of b
The nicest and best place to have breakfast and lunch in the Castro. Such friendly and beautiful people work there! A must.
My fav breakfast spot in the Castro. Wish they still had that corn beef hash on the menu, but the Austin Burrito gets it done nonetheless
Fantastic diner (?) Not really sure what to classify this menu lol delicious suits it though. Clam Chowder was great, and a filling proportion. My friend is a big French fry nommer and absolutely smashed these hahaa (got a pretty evil look when I snatched a couple off the plate, so guess that means
Such a sweet crew! The food is fantastic and the prices are amazing considering the location. It's one of my go-to spots in the city, though it can get busy towards the evenings and at weekend brunch! I don't drink but I have been told their Bloody Marys & mimosas are excellent.
I can’t say enough about this restaurant. We walked in by chance and were glad we did. Absolutely lovely and super friendly staff. We enjoyed our chat with them and they were helpful with suggestions as we were first time visitors to the area. The food was very tasty and perfectly cooked.
Great service. Indoor and outdoor seating and coffee refills are on it.
I remember first time i ate at this restaurant way back in 1984, this has stood the test of time, today im reminiscing the past, i sat at the table facing the street, im so happy i stopped by and had a bite to eat, wow the menu was overpriced for a small bowl of soup was $12, soup was served 20 mins
I've always loved The Cove, and this visit was great! I had the clam chowder and I approve, which is good because I'm from Boston. I also had the chicken sandwich, which was yummy because of the ranch dressing and hot sauce. The chicken was cooked well, and the bread was a good choice. I just love c
