One of the best GF bakeries in America. So many delicious options for sweet bakery treats, warm breakfast or lunch sandwiches, breads, cakes, cookies, etc. The service is very nice. And the location in the Ferry Building is so charming.
Wowwwww gluten free croissants??? Sign me up!!
I got a croissant, ham and cheese turnover, and cinnamon roll. All were excellent, and of course gluten free.
The croissant was flaky and buttery and delicious. Not the exact same consistency as a regular croissant but pretty dang close. And the flavor is top notch.
The ham and cheese turnover was to die for! Sooo good. The pastry part was so buttery and amazing.
The cinnamon roll was also great. No complaints. Very flavorful with plenty of cinnamon to go around.
Will definitely be coming here again! Next time I’m coming early because I heard they sell the croissants by the bag as well and I want to stock up!
Amazing as usual! I visit San Francisco just to come to this bakery. If you are on the search for actual gluten-free pastries this is where you need to be.
With a dedicated gluten-free factory. They make GF pastries that actually taste like pastries. Their chocolate croissants, aka pain au chocolate, are wonderful. Flakey and bursting with dark chocolate. They had a new item which was a brown sugar toaster pastry like Pop-Tarts. I didn't love this one. I thought that the exterior dough could have been a little crisper. And it was a little overly sweet but a good replication.
And my new favorite are the Viennese tea cookies. They're incredible! Kind of like a melt away cookie.
Ordered an orange almond scone because it looked and sounded yummy. It was gluten free which I missed when I eyed it up. This scone…was delicious, moist and full of flavor.
If you are gluten free this place is an absolute gem! It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny! There are so many Gluten/dairy free options- it’s hard to not buy one of everything! There are more lunch options on the menu in house vs what is listed on the website. I ordered a curry empanada, cinnamon roll and the B.L.A.T sandwich. It was all so tasty and nice to eat somewhere I know is completely GF. There is no indoor seating at this location. I can’t wait to go back!
Favorite gluten-free bakery in San Francisco! Wide selection of treats, both sweet and savory. The Handmade Pies are good, as well as the Spinach and Feta Pocket.
The people here are nice too!
Excellent gluten free baked goods. Enjoyable even for people not avoiding gluten.
I preferred the texture of their almond cheddar scones to regular scones. Soft and a had sun dried tomato taste.
Hand pies were very well made. Berry apple was tart and had good pastry
Sliced bread was very good - nice crust and good crumb especially for gluten free bread.
Has signage identifying which items in the case are also oat, egg, sesame, tree nut free etc. can also refer to website for full ingredients list for many items (can’t say for sure if all are there).
Really liked the variety of items available for a gluten free bakery.
A gluten-free oasis! This spot has such yummy treats, both sweet and savory. We had cherry turnovers, cinnamon buns, cheddar scones, and pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant). But my personal favorites were the maple walnut twists and the brownies! They also had cupcakes, pastas, and entire cakes to take home. They’re admittedly not the best GF treats I’ve ever had, though they are indeed great!
honestly the best gluten free baked goods I've had
Gluten free mecca 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Will be my first and last stop in SF from now on when I’m visiting! Had a warm pan au chocolate that was 👩🏻🍳 😚 🤌🏼
Pretty much any carb you can think of - they make it. A celiac’s dream!
