Puerto Alegre - San Francisco - Photo album

This is by far my favorite place to eat in SF. The food is amazing. I’ve been coming for years and the quality just keeps getting better. Highly recommend ordering a pitcher of Margaritas. They are too good to have just one. Everything on the menu is a winner. I just had the fried chicken taco for
This place is always on point and totally amazing! Great food, service, drinks, and location. Thank you and I will be back again soon!
Oh my goodness this place was amazing!! And I ordered take-out. I live in the area and thought that’d be easy but it’s in a very busy part of town so parking is REALLY HARD- be sure to factor that in if you’re getting take-out. This is the first place I’ve found locally that actually adds flavor to
One of the best Mexican foods I've had in the city. The burrito and quesadillas tasted fresh, well mixed, balanced ingredients. The interior is also nice and we were lucky that a mariachi band stopped by while we were eating. The service was fast and welcoming.
Best margaritas and best shrimp fajitas I've ever had. Those onions are literally the best onions I've ever eaten in my life. We went to Italy in March and everyone told us it would be the best food ever. It wasn't and all we did was talk about this place. We walked down the streets of Rome talking
I’ve been going here for the last 19 years and it is consistently delicious! Margaritas are fantastic, the service always friendly and the food is consistently everything I want it to be. So darn good!
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants that has authentic food 😋 👌 tried the frozen strawberry 🍓 margaritas 🍹 the best
We stayed in a hotel on this street, and were just strolling the area seeing what place would lure us in....this place did. The smell of fresh tortillas, and salsa brought us here from the outside. We were seated in minutes, and this place was busy, but the staff was bustling and efficient. The wait
An institution that has definitely been an anchor of the Valencia-16th corridor for 50 years, Puerto Alegre deserves it's spot as a mainstay in the Mission. The menu isn't huge, but it doesn't miss. Drinks are good, service is great, and the atmosphere is just what I want - please never remodel! Don
Great margaritas, salsa and chips. The chicken fajitas are the best.
