Tadu Ethiopian Kitchen - San Francisco - Photo album

Humble and modest restaurant offering Ethiopian food. It was my first time tasting Ethiopian food so don't have any yardstick to measure the quality on this one. I found the food to be delicious. It's a unique and meticulous melange of spices and meat. They got reasonably wide variety of vegetarian
This was an absolutely delightful experience. The place served really good Ethiopian food. It's a small seating area, but since I went late in the evening, I could easily get seated. The place has studio look, with open columns, and gerders, which gives quite a fusion ambience. Server was really go
It was my first experience of Euthopian food and I loved it. Simple and flavorful. The restaurant is small and cozy. Staff is really nice. I had chicken tibs and veg platter.
recommended by friend’s friend as must food have in SF, and yes it is! The dish are served with soft and yummy rolled wraps. The dishes come with big portion, very delicious.
Simple quaint restaurant tucked into a ground floor building. Tasty Ethiopian food. Lamb was tasty along with lentils and anjera bread/edible utensil. Friendly service also happy to teach and give us a sample of flax seed / honey drink. Prices are reasonable and sharing encouraged.
This is almost a hole in the wall. Run by Ethiopians, the food is authentic and flavorful. The veggie Melody is unique to this place and a must try. It's in a completely shady neighborhood but it's worth the meal. Quick service and friendly waitress.
Delicious! I ordered the Telba (flax meal drink with honey) and the vegetable medley (mushroom) with injera (Ethiopian sourdough pancake) for $15.15 total. Everything was excellent; however, I did think the dishes were too oily for my taste. I will go back again.
Looking at the place from outside, you would think twice before entering. But once you get in, you will not regret it. Had never tried Ethiopian cooking before, but the Kitfo was absolutely amazing and the lamb was also really good. A must go if you are in the area.
The people working here are friendly and the food is also good. The place seems family owned. If you are a traveller, just be careful about the homeless people in the streets.
Loved the food! Its homely ambience adds more flavor to the authentic Ethiopian food. Being a vegetarian, I didn't feel short of options here and everything tasted delicious!!
Ethiopian food is one of my favorites & I really enjoyed this place . My go to is always the extra juicy beef tibs . what I really like about this place is how healthy it is & how they cater to San Francisco's healthy eating group . the juicy beef tibs were cooked to perfection & the sauce was delic
Awesome food with very good service. The place is a little small so if you are visiting with friends, do make a reservation. The walls are beautiful and adorned with (what looks like) Ethiopian art adding a tinge of authenticity to the place.
Everything was delicious! There was only one person handling orders and cooking so it took some time, but the wait was worth it. Beef ribs, regular kitfo sandwich (BUTTERY), and kik alicha wot were all excellent.
Decor: 4/5 -VERY limited seating -has incense sticks placed near the tables on the steel beams Service: 5/5 -very welcoming and homey, our orders were taken at the table and served to the table Food: 5/5 -First time trying Ethiopian and I'm blown away at how delicious the dishes were. -I ordered t
Epic eats at affordable prices. Although the walk to the restaurant was a tad intimidating due to the location, the reward far outweighs the risk. I would highly recommend a pit stop here because you won't be disappointed. The staff is friendly and service impeccable.
Loved the food! Great little restaurant serving delicious food. I got two complete meals to go. Definitely going back again!
Veggie combo is the way to go. The spicy red lentils are amazing! We’ll get the tibs sometimes too if we’re feeling hungry!
