My favorite Korean restaurant in SF!
It’s usually popular. Luckily, it wasn’t busy during dinner on a Monday so we were able to get seated right away.
The food was so authentic. The tofu soup was good. The galbijjim was awesome!!! And the pancake was delicious as well.
Service was good and fast.
Han Il Kwan is perhaps the quintessential Korean grilled meat cuisine in SF providing authenticity without apologiess. Simply love all the variety of dishes (many of them not available in Americanized Korean restaurants) prepared in a home-style cooking construct.

I had an amazing experience at the Korea restaurant! The variety of delicious small dishes they served before the meal were a delightful start to the dining experience. The food service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The galbi jjim is very authentic,

The banchan selection here can't be beat. I ordered the mul- naengmyeon which was great, and added some of the brisket from the barbecue selection to supplement. We tried the spicy pork and the unseasoned brisket, both of which were great. Servers will bring a complementary tofu soup during the meal
Good traditional Korean food with tons of different banchan, side dishes. I got the galbitang and thought it was one of the better galbitangs that I’ve had at a restaurant. This place was highly rated and I even had to wait almost 45 minutes to get in so definitely a popular spot!

Called in an order to go almost as soon as they opened. There were already people piling in on a weekday afternoon. Inside has a good amount of tables, but im sure it gets crowded fast. We ordered rice cake and meat dumpling soup, galbi and bibimbap lunch specials. They gave lots of different bancha

My family and I have been going here for years! It's the best quality for the price, and they make the best Soft Tofu Soup. My uncle believes they don't put the oyster in their soup, and that's why it tastes so good to me... but I don't know, I think it's just perfectly balanced between the texture
Came here this past Friday around prime dinner time at 7pm and there was obvi a wait. It didn't last that long as we opted for any table and got seated in the corner grill-less spot. Staff is so nice and warn.
