Surprisingly great spot for a group of friends, eating alone, or a couple. Nice books in the table for your things. Great flavored broths. Vegan ramen is also great

One of the best vegan ramen places in SF. There’s long wait line as they don’t accept reservations, but wait is definitely worth it. Staff is nice too, place is a bit small though.

The wait was not worth it in my opinion. The service was amazing but the food, which is the main reason to go to any restaurant wasn't to the other best ramen places I've been. There's no options of different types of noodles. Unfortunately they use prepackaged noodles like Ichiban or similar and that doesn't cut it. The broth was okay and so were the toppings. I do have to give them credit with the cuts of pork, which were fresh and high quality. If there's no line up, I would probably go again. But if there is a line, don't buy into the hype.

Small restaurant with great service and amazing Ramen. The staff is very accommodating and went out of their way to seat our group of 11. The Ramen, vegan and signature were delicious.

Food was amazing!! The area Mensho is located in is not the best just a heads up since there is a line you have to wait in. It took about 40 minutes for us to get seated. The Vegan Tantanmen was a heavy favorite of mine, loved the creaminess and all crunch of various items instead. The vegan GKO definitely was more spicy but also was very good!! Due to the spiciness though, it was harder to munch down still great though. The seasoning on the corn ribs was AMAZING. Would go back just for those haha

Ramen, that is worth the wait. We got the G.K.O. extra spicy, and it was just the right amount of spice. The pieces of garlic gave the ramen that special taste. The 40-minute wait was well worth it. We will.come back again.

The mochi tsukemen (limited?) it was absolutely life changing. It is so different from regular tsukemen the textures of the noodle is so unique and goes perfectly. The spicy enoki mushroom chips were also good. They did not taste like mushrooms and reminded me of french fries a bit. The blaze ramen was delicious too for a craving of something w a kick. I recommend getting the mochi tsukemen if u can try it. Words won’t explain it. Just try it!!

This might be the best chain. I’ve now eaten in both the SF and Berkeley locations and the only word I can find, which escapes most multi location propositions, is consistency. In the way orchids are? No I’m the way that inspires the idea that something cannot disappoint.

Great tiny space for authentic ramen. I came alone and revive my experience in Asia. Spicy Enoki Chips were crunchy, tasty, chewy, nice touch of the chili oil and lemon. Pretty good size. G.K.O. Was great size, very creamy and rich in flavor, not that very spicy but I'm Mexican, who knows how spicy it really was. The flavor of garlic was intense, the combination of the chashu with the Fried carrot was my favourite part. Drank a Choya Plum wine to dive into the whole experience.

Was quite crowded even near to closing time. Ramen was decent but the corn ribs and fried chicken were too salty. Small restaurant but people do moving in and out quickly so the wait for a table wasn’t too long. Worth a try if it’s not too crowded but otherwise there are many other food choices around.
