Pier 23 Cafe Restaurant & Bar - San Francisco - Photo album

Small cafe & bar, with a back enclosed tent and also outdoor dining. Drinks were perfect and our server was on top of her game. Food was delish. (Note: automatic 20% gratuity on our family of six. I don’t like this but also know it is common.)
Nice place. Great location. Excellent service. Maybe I caught them on a good day, but the dining experience was a nice one. We went there for lunch on a weekend and it was almost full but not crowded. The server was attentive and amicable. I'd go back.
Pier 23 offers a picturesque dining experience with a fantastic outdoor space by the water, making it an ideal spot, especially in good weather. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, providing various outdoor areas. However, the service fell a bit short in creating a genuinel
oh my god that was like within the top 3 food experiences of my entire life??? and it was, honestly, for the experience and the clear high quality of ingredients -- reasonably priced??? that was phenomenal. the wait staff was so lovely and considerate and kind, the drinks were! woah! best bloody mar
Great place to have lunch! Love the food, really tasty and also the service - the waitress was friendly and gave us good suggestions. Despite the mistake made by another colleague on a wrong dessert delivered she promptly corrected and solve it. Quick and smooth. Perfect!
Ate lunch here right when they opened and the food was amazing. Service was good and the view was good. Definitely recommend trying if your down on the bay side of town.
Loved this place. We felt welcomed from the second we walked in. The clam chowder has a very buttery flavor, it's amazing. The crab cakes are served on a salad that compliments them perfectly. Definitely will eat here again.
The bartender was especially warm and helpful. The salad wasn’t memorable but it did what it was supposed to do + the generous helping of shrimp was great! I got fish and garlic chips to go and the fish didn’t make it out of the restaurant 😩 maybe it was the mai tai but I could not stop eating it! A
As good as it gets. Old fashion classy service, everything on the menu is fresh and prepared well. Cocktail menu has all the classics. Price is fair for what you get and then some. Cheers, have been back many times and never regretted it
Stopped here for lunch before we toured Alcatraz from Pier 33 which was a 5 minute walk. We walked to here from the Ferry Building, maybe 10-20 minutes. Food was good. However, my bay shrimp still had ice in it in my salad, which wasn't great. Pretty expensive (like much of our visit to San Francisc
