Not only is this some of the best coffee in this city but the staff is amazing! As a tourist the fact that the wonderful man behind the counter made my 13 yr old a special sweet drink that she loves but when we went back the next day he remembered me and my entire order! I was very impressed with the service here and would very HIGHLY recommend them!!!!!

I got a cragel (croissant bagel) and a latte. Coming from NYC, it definitely doesn't beat a NYC bagel, but it's worth a try! The latte was pretty good and it's very close to the hotel. Great staff.

Small little cafe with reasonable amount of seating. I stopped in because I happen to see the sandwiches the customers were eating. The food did not disappoint and was phenomenal. I got the Spicy Chicken sandwich and an iced chai latte. It was quite filling and it was so good that I just wanted more. Perfect spot for lunch. I recommend planning for a 15 minute wait on the sandwich but it is definitely worth it.

Got a play white and breakfast sandwich here, both were solid. Making a flat one correctly deserves a 5 star but the sandwich took me by surprise. The bread was fresh and crispy, sandwich had some veggies to help create really good balanced bites. Way better than any egg and sausage sandwiches I’ve ever had!

This place was so close to my hotel and I discovered it on my last day.
I ordered the funky town and was immediately sad I didn’t order someone on a cragel (croissant and bagel) but after eating my sandwich that feeling went right out the window. I also got a dirty chai, they had alternative milk options. And a cookie I’m saving for later.
Super cute, staff was friendly and helpful. They worked really well together taking turns taking orders, making beverages. They communicated well too and I’m sure that’s helpful working in that small space.
I wish I had decided to eat there because they have a nice indoor space but also a few outdoor options.
Glad I discovered this place on my last day because I think I would have found a reason to go here everyday.

Came here with a few friends of mine while visiting the city. Was looking for a breakfast spot with some good coffee, and we ended up here at Beanstalk.
The Food: I went with a "Lox Bagel" and a "Dirty Chai Latte". The Lox bagel was good! Had a good amount of lox on the bagel, with plenty of greens to pair it with. I enjoyed it a lot. The Dirty Chai Latte was delicious as well. That Chai flavor was well there and it wasn't too sweet.
The Service: Service was good. Staff were friendly. This place can get really busy in the morning, so come early or be prepared to wait for a bit. However, the food/drinks do come out in a timely manner.
The Atmosphere: This spot is quite small. Not that many places to sit here, so most of the time I saw people just ordering their foods to go.
Overall, a 4/5. Very good breakfast spot to grab yourself a bagel/sandwich and some coffee. I'd recommend giving this place a try.

A very cute cafe with an exquisite breakfast menu. The Bush Street Morning Sandwich was perfect: warm and toasty. Their Matcha Latte will also warm your heart.

The Cragel croissant/bagel is solid! This is one of the few breakfast sandwich spots that actually cooks, and crisps their bacon! Will be back, $11.68 for a Breakfast Sando so standard for SF
