Arrived at 7am for 7:30am opening and there is already a line around the corner. Orders are taken based on when you were seated so be patient. Huge portion - We ordered the "Open Road" which came with ham steak that takes up half of the plate. Pancakes and French Toast comes as a side also a huge
Great little eatery in SF. We went for breakfast and had mixed reviews on their dishes (hence the 4 star). Staff was perfectly kind and on top of everything. We were seated immediately and walked through the menu. Tons of seasonal options and varying menu choices.
I ordered the famous pancakes and
After an hour and 15 minute wait in the rain, I think I was expecting to be bowled over by this place. While the baked goods and specials were absolutely delicious, the staff was running around like crazy and didn't have time to give you a quality service experience. We were sat at a communal table
The food was delicious... the service was great and nice atmosphere, just the neighborhood ain't so nifty! But it was worth the wait in line around the corner! 2 of us the and we ordered 4 plates and combined it all up!! Just to takes taste everything we could...
Service was prompt and efficient. The atmosphere was chill and the listening to the blues was a welcome respite from the hecticnesss on the streets. The deco was a step back in time and I appreciated the 1960s deco and skylight. Ordered a pancake (which was huge) and a hot chocolate. The pancake was
I came here on a Monday at 11:30AM and there was quite a line. I'd recommend waking through Market street since it's a bit safer!
It has vintage and jazzy kind of feel, we felt like we were in New York! The cafe starts off with a bakery and the lady is super nice when you walk in. She'll tell you a
The food tasted great. I had a burger with bacon, cheddar, and an egg. Pretty good. My only complaint would be there’s was too much bread. I took the top bun off. No big deal. I had a chai latte too. Oh, and two beers 😬. My recommendation is to come on a weekday. I rolled in around 1:15p on a Friday
A scrappy little place that serves pretty good food, with good portion sizes. Ordered the frittata, and it was enjoyable. The restaurant gets pretty hot during warm weather, though admittedly I was there during record-setting summer temps. Careful with the bathroom doors; double check that you've lo
The walk up to the restaurant isn't the best but the place makes you feel comfortable the minute you get in. You immediately realize the history of this place.
The food was nice but what you would find in most diners. I got the lamb omlette with the corn bread. It was good but probably a bit expensi
Food is excellent, and service is good! They do not rush you although there is a queue outside. There was already a queue before they even opened! The food is worth the wait though.
No matter how you plan ahead to minimize the wait time, chances are you'll run into some interesting characters on your way in. During our half hour wait on a warm, sunny afternoon, a bumbling fellow knocks over a trash bin whilst scrounging for something to munch on. Oh, what a colorful place.

The food here is amazing. Farm Fresh Food directly to the table. Everything is made to order. Whenever you go, be prepared to wait in line for about 20-30mins, as the restaurant is small for the amount of foot traffic it gets. The food is well worth the wait. You won't be disappointed.
I had the banana and raspberry riceflour pancake which was really nice. The portion was so big I couldn't finish it. Very tasty as well and gluten free. Their coffee is nice too and they refill your cup. Service was good although a little slow. The toilets weren't great. Once was out of service and
We enjoyed our meal and service. I had the egg sandwich platter with potatoes and fruit. My daughter had the pancakes and bacon. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop. They also have indoor seating downstairs.
Great food, terrible neighborhood. Smells of pee all around the building, long waiting lines outside are unbearable due to the stench. Once you get seated though, food is fantastic. Loved their scotch fennel sausage omelette. Service was great, very attentive wait staff.
The line might be long, but it’s definitely worth the wait. This is my fav breakfast spot in San Fran! Fair price, great quality and friendly staff. Love love it 😋
