Great cafe with friendly service. The pastrami sandwich was excellent, meat was done right. French toast was fluffy and delicious. The chicken pot pie looked better than it tasted, the spices inside were weird. Loved the casual vibe of this place, you can linger for hours.
Yes yes yes! This place is delicious! Everything we had was perfection from the pastrami to the tuna to the plain pasta. My niece had an enormous and delicious salad. We found a secluded little table upstairs which was amazing. The ambiance is very unique. It was a great experience
The restaurant's decor is a wonderful melange of seating styles & old rock & roll posters & attractive but tiny wooden tables jam-packed into every conceivable space. The first time we visited I had some blue cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon that were sublime! Unfortunately since then that has
Man, this place just delivers such consistency. I've gotten almost everything on the menu before and, while there are some desserts I'm not totally enamored with, most everything I have here is very satisfactory. The counter service is quick and the staff is very friendly. The avocado toast with egg
Great place for a quick bite. Service was good, and food quality was excellent. Prices were good for the portion sizes. Everything we've ordered was great. I decided to try the California hotdog and it was very good....and I'm typically not a hotdog kind of person, but this caught my eye. The wife
Counter service food taken up a notch, with all-day breakfast along with entrées like lasagna, mac and cheese, and enormous pork and beef meatballs. I enjoyed the meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce, served with broccolini and polenta. The huevos rancheros were also fantastic, and on a cold winter nig
Super yummy food!! Came here with hubby before the Opera... super close... food is amazing, super well served and delicious (highly recommended before the opera!!) We each ordered sandwiches and trust me if you are not that hungry you can share... or eat one each and definitely last a 4 hour opera😅.
One of my favorite restaurants because of the atmosphere and food. Everytime I walk in I smile at the decor, the different types of seating and all of the energy buzzing around from the people enjoying their food and conversations. I still personally think they have the best grilled cheese and tomat
Good food, casual environment. You walk up to a counter to order and there is a good assortment of American comfort food like grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, and other sandwiches, salads, and entrees. They do serve alcohol as well. It's a little pricey but about the norm for the area.
One of the few casual restaurants around this area that is open late (past 8pm), and offers an array of Sight Glass coffee drinks and American comfort foods. I had avocado toast and an almond dirty chai--both of which were on par with what you would expect. We also had the California hot dog--a hot
Had an amazing breakfast burrito 🌯 chicken lime tortilla soup and avocado toast! Would definitely come again! :)
Half chicken plate was good though not spectacular. Carrot cake was nice though for $7 I would have expected more. Chicken Pot Pie made for a great photo, if that's what you are looking for!
Great service. The food is really good and the location is pretty chill. Would recommend it
Great atmosphere, nice music, very sympathic and friendly service but most important, the food was delicious. I had the roast beef salad and i loved it. I am for sure coming back again.
Friendly staff great food excellent environment JJ and Charles are excellent mangers . The staff are so friendly .They are patient and will offer suggestions and will take the time to explain, if you have a question. Only thing they need to do is bring g back the dark chocolate cookie!
It's hard to go wrong with The Grove. The food is great and affordable, and the wait staff is always helpful and friendly. The location is also fantastic, especially if you just want a quick bite to eat before seeing a show.
