Tommy's Joynt - San Francisco - Photo album

Busted…I went full throttle. Ordered the Jack Tar which includes a little bit of all meats, and there was about 8 different types of meat, it was bonkers…and hearty. I also ordered a carrot cake and soda, both sweet and tasty. The bartender was cool, and while I was glad they had non alcoholic beer,
So glad I made it out here! I was visiting the city and had this on my list of places to go, but I kept not making it. Finally on my last day in the city I had some hours to kill after the event I was attending ended and I was waiting for my flight. Walked over from Japantown, got in line. There was
I stopped by this place since it was near the music venue I was attending. I first went for dinner. I wanted to try the turkey sloppy Joe, but it looked like it had been sitting out for a while. No line, grabbed a bbq sandwich with slab cheese on sourdough bread. Was delicious. Then, after Show, St
This is a neighborhood bar that has become iconic for visitors. Great drinks, strong if you like them that way. Bartenders are great. Hot sandwiches, hofbrau style. Watch a game, enjoyable friendly crowd
A San Francisco institution. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Locals know. If you want some great comfort food with a little history this is the spot!
SF classic no frills hoffbrau. They now take credit cards for a small fee. Great drinks. Comfort food. Great place to take visitors.

I'm a local, I live up the street -- I eat here 2x3 times a week and have consistently for the last 6 months. I don't suppose this trend wiill stop any time soon. Delicious food and good prices. Never have walked out hungry or feeling like I overpaid. Drinks are exceptionally cheap and delicious too
A nice place to eat. Great portions. Lots to look at. Good prices. Good Cole slaw. Fast service. No parking of course. Definitely come in, there's a reason this place has been here for a million years. Super nice staff. CASH ONLY!
We had Thanksgiving dinner there. There was a little wait but it went by quickly. You had a choice of sides served with your choice of Turkey or ham. My man & I enjoyed this dining experience.
Passing through the city on my way to the airport and had to stop by Tommy’s. Delicious!
My first time going to this place I went here on a dinner date I loved it the atmosphere was great people were friendly we went upstairs to a secluded dining area and we were left alone and it was peaceful and romantic and the food was great I had barbecue and it was so tender it practically fell ap
Tommy's Joynt is a classic in the city. Classic American food in a bar environment. Definitely worth to check it out, the meat is delicious and they always have quite some options there. Don't hesitate to grab a beer in addition to the food
Pretty average spot. I enjoyed the deli versus bar decor, but the food was nothing special at all. Had a pastrami rye, they only had Swiss cheese, no sauerkraut. Rye bread was basic. Pastrami was basic. I took some lasagna to go. It was ok.
I love Tommy’s Joint. Had the open face Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy on my most recent visit. Definitely a favorite spot of mine for many years, always a good choice!
Love this great chow house. Food is plentiful and the price is amazing. I had ribs and they were moist with a tangy sweet and sour sauce. My partner had a brisket roll which he enjoyed. Compared to many of the expensive places around this was a refreshing change and fun if you love American BBQ flav
